23.01.2022 Today in Brisbane a lady and her three kids were buried due to family violence. Family violence is never ok to a woman, child or a man. We need to stop making this all about men vs women this is about us as a community. We need to introduce more protection for victims, and consequences for perpetrators and false accusers. Yes for anyone who has ever made a false accusation you make it that much harder for true victims as they fight to be protected. Family violence is not... okay..No matter how mis treated you feel. We must all work to stop it! No man woman or child should ever live in fear of violence and to make this clear Physical Financial Verbal Religious Social Please seek help if you are suffering

Unsure what your scenario is feel free to contact me or join my payers or receivers groups on the link below (private chat pages) Just need any other support please contact me and stay safe and well.

20.01.2022 So there is a lot of media about a review into family law and the inclusion of child support. I have been watching and reading Politicians and Family law experts who are invited to TV to speak as experts and often they do not even have a basic understanding of how it works now, an example being I watch a family law say there as been no substantial change since 1989?? Well in 2008 huge changes were made some good some bad I think but they were huge and throughout the years ma...Continue reading

16.01.2022 Afternoon. Across all my pages we see the "government is at fault" and I would love us to have a thread about this. I do not think our system is perfect and although my main value proposition to all of you is how about it works now, for better or worse. I would like a chat around the rules and the govt authority do we want them to have more power i.e. to force or coherse contact or less i.e. reduction in CS powers?.... The first thing to consider is why was the child support agency was created by Bob Hawke and simply put people were walking away from their financial responsibility causing increased poverty levels in single families and a bigger drain in the community through welfare. Yes although majority of single parents were mums and still are dads are also I believe primary custodian currently sits at 15% men. So Hawke made a crazy claim that by 1990 no child would be homeless and boom CSA began. Now I see all the time good and bad results of the same laws and the key difference for me is that one parent not both necessarily has other issues and uses contact and child support as a tool of torture be it not to pay or to try amd have more than appropriate amounts paid. Two significant things happen one Parent stops the other having access or one washes their hands and says I don't have a kid or a responsibility. The rules are set up generally to address the former with no real protection for parents who against their wishes (no risk to child involved) cannot see their child without investing a small fortune and then still maybe not. 1 I think we need improvements around family law and these will 100% change CS payments even under current rules..more equal access less payment due. 2 When and how do we hold the withholders and the ones who walk away accountable and how? 3 What could ww do to make CS a more reflective system of our challenges and support safe and positive co parenting. Yes soon I will be working with some people to develop my own suggestions to make it support the good parents. I am part way through a draft of how and where changes could be made that I feel better supports great parents to support their kids.

05.01.2022 Hey Everyone. As I sit here waiting for my new little niece to be born I thought I would share a flavour of what will be going in my whitepaper for system changes. 1. At fault impact for care in terms of impact to assessment. So what I mean is that if there is a consent order or court order that sets contact; then if; Receiving parent moves away no change to the amount payable should be made as the parent is accepting the financial impact to them and the children unless ot...herwise agreed by the payer and payee. If the payer moves away and reduces contact assessment goes up as again like in the former they are making the decision and accepting the financial impact. 2. If the receiving parent has a new baby there should be no income reduction they should still get a rel dep allowance considered which has a small impact on assessment as would the payer when they had a new child. Potential negative impact a payer mum who gets pregnant and has same rule applied. 3. Through a new funding proposaland or volunteer service Centrelink centres become drop off and pick centres where parent claims the other is not following a court order and then again if care withheld no change and if non custodial does not turn up then assessment changes. These take a position that means if beyond the assessment if you choose to not have care or reduce the other parents care without their consent you take the disadvantage of less money or payment. I would also include a child protection officer and potentially a police officer be available also so if someone claims that a parent is a risk there is a person there real time to sort facts from fiction so we protect those who need and reduce instance of false claims. It also means where someone has a new baby their previous spouse does not get lumped with the financial short fall for current kids. As we know the formula is based on if the parents were still together and we should take that lens to consent and payment impact. These promotes people having a new family and partner but doesn't mean the ex partner is financially impacted by the others life choices and better manage their finances. These are still a work in progress and I have more around change of assessment and equity of review as well as collection but happy to hear your thoughts and comments.

01.01.2022 Post for a member Andrew, please delete if this is inappropriate. Hi everyone, I’m new here and I’m so glad for being referred to Andrew. He is such a good person. ... I wanted to warn others out there about a scammer in Adelaide that’s offering a similar service that Andrew offers. He talks like a drunken sailer with all sorts of profanities on the phone. He promises the world but does not deliver on them. His business has no physical address just a PO Box. I googled his name and business and found a lot of people warning others that he’s a shonk. Anyway a few weeks I called him and he just started rambling on about how well he knows the system and how he can get my $130k reduced to nothing (add every second word consisted of Fkn, C*#nt, plus every other profanity. He even proclaimed to know my case manager just by her first name! Anyway he sent me an email wanting $4,400 up front and after the funds clear he would start on my case. Of course I found this to be very strange to pay for something of that value upfront so I googled his name (PM me for details please) and his business and found all the negative reviews. So please pass this message on to as many people you know, spread the word so no poor bugger gets stung. Ps: he left a voice mail this afternoon on my wife’s phone (she’s in hospital and didn’t need to hear this) I will try and attach the voicemail he sent this afternoon. he calls me a dickhead and accuses me of hiding my dealings with him to my wife etc. I’ve had one call and one email he sent to me, so no dealings, just his false promises and a $4400 invoice for nothing in return! Please warn others of this man. Steer clear of him! I can’t attach the voicemail. Does anyone know how to do this?
