25.01.2022 Just a friendly few reminders and some exciting changes!!! Sassy styles by Sasha will be changing names very soon onwards and upwards as my little business has grown so much over the last few years... S.O Sassy Hair and Beauty will be taking its place but still the same crazy old me!!! Stay tuned over the coming months for more details My wait time for appointments is approximately 2 weeks for day appointments and 3 weeks for evening or Saturdays. Please book in advance ...to avoid disappointment. Most of my clients rebook every appointment for 4 -8 weeks. All messages will be answered within 24 hours. If i don't message you back please message me again (after 24 hours) I've accidentally missed it and I'm very sorry. I try not to answer until the end of the day so i don't run behind when im working. Please be patient I will get back to you! Please make sure you sanitise your hands on entry and if you are sick of any sort please reschedule your appointment (no exemptions will be made). And please only come to your appointments by yourselves as it is a small space. I appreciate your understanding. If you want a change in color please tell me prior (when you are booking) as i will need to make sure i have sufficient time to be able to do the service required. Im taking a few days off over the next couple of months to keep up to date with trending new colors and also to update my knowledge in color correction. I can't wait to learn some new and exciting ways and to start trying them out on you lovely ladies!!!! 22.01.2022 Im backkkkk!!!! Well what a week that was! We are moved in and trying to get as organised as we can. We have sadly hit a few road bumps with the salon and I couldn't get it done in time however I still have a nice little salon space and will make it through Christmas and will now start building in January!! Bring on the silly season and looking great for the fat man in the red suit!

It's just hair - I was a part of your wedding. It's just hair - I was your child's first haircut.... It's just hair - I was there for your first date. It's just hair - I was there for their funeral. It's just hair- I was there for your graduation. It's just hair- I was there when you didn't like the way you looked. It's just hair- when you got offered your dream job and nobody else knew but me and you! It's just hair- when you met the person of your dreams and they told you they loved you for the very first time! It's just hair- when all you wanted in the whole world is a hug from your hair stylist because you knew they'd give it to you with open arms! It's just hair- when you lost your job and didn't know what you were going to do. It's just hair- when you were getting a divorce and just needed to feel better about yourself. It's just hair- when you had a terrible day and looked forward to being able to vent without being judged. It's just hair- when you are about to go on vacation and can't wait to tell me all about it on your next visit. It's just hair - when you were expecting your first child. And I was a safe person to be able to tell. It's not "just hair" Never has been and never will be! I CANT WAIT TO SEE MY LOVELY PEOPLE AND JUST DO HAIR

20.01.2022 To all my valued clients, Sadly I too have joined so many and will be closing my doors friday for 4 weeks (or more if needed). Being a home salon has it's challenges of space and also brings a much greater risk to my family so I appreciate your understanding in this hard time. I will be open still this week for those appointments that I have (if we aren't shut down earlier) but i ask that given such a small space please only come by yourself with no children or family to try ...and keep within the regulations the government is asking of us. I apologise to those who have appointments booked in the next few weeks, I truly am sorry. If you do have an appointment this week and aren't going to make it please let me know as soon as possible as tomorrow I will only be buying the colors that are needed for this week only. 20.01.2022 I have had a fair few messages this morning regarding hairdressers being able to stay open. 'I' believe we are in the same category as beauticians etc. I'm surprised to be honest that we are allowed to stay open as we are constantly breaking the 1.5 rule that they are telling us to adhere too. I sadly don't have go go gadget arms that i can safely do this... so sadly to protect my family who are now home safely with me I will be remaining CLOSED for the time being. You guys will be the first to be notified when I'm back up and running. Stay safe everyone x

18.01.2022 Wow everyone I'm really feeling the love! Thank you all for your continued support after closing my doors several weeks ago. Im so glad you all missed me and I'm so grateful that I am now booked out until the end of May! I will continue until the end of May to keep it to 1 client at a time and extended hours to fit you all in and then as of June I will open up back to normal trading hours and 2 clients at a time. If you are sick (Any type) please cancel (at least 24 hours notice) and reschedule when you are better. I have 3 young kids and grandparents I see very often and others in my life that are very high risk. As this is my home as well it is of great importance to me. 15.01.2022 Hey guys just a few reminders coming into the silly season. I am currently booked out prior to Christmas so please, if you can't make your appointment let me know asap as I have a waiting list. Please arrive on time for your appointment, sadly i won't be able to do it if you run late and can't rebook you as I have no appointments left. I work 12 hour days for 2 weeks to fit you all in so pretty please don't ask if I can squeeze you in as you all know im not great with saying no although I will have to lol! 14.01.2022 Hi all, so I'm starting back up for my regulars as of next week sorry but no new clients at this stage (this means if I haven't done your hair before I won't be doing until I open to new clients again). My appointments will go very quickly with some restrictions in place so please keep that in mind when booking, I have extended my hours to help with this. I also ask that no children or family members come with you to your appointment just for the time being and please if you have a sniffle or cough or anything at all please do not come (I will have to ask those who do this to leave immediately and you will be charged for the appointment time next appointment). 13.01.2022 S.O Sassy hair and beauty is on the move!! We bought a house and are beyond excited I will be closed for moving from 5th Nov to 18th Nov. I will not be contactable during this time to make appointments and will answer everyone on the 18th Nov before I return. 06.01.2022 Hey guys so the countdown is on, only 5 days to go before we move!!! Im fully booked this week so please be patient with me as I may run behind. Im also fully booked the week i return and have very sparse appointments from now until Christmas! So please if you haven't made your appointment get in quickly to avoid disappointment. I may not have a completed salon when I return as I've only given myself a week to build it lol (whoops on my part, poor bruce ) but fingers crossed it will get done over the course of the next few weeks thank you all for your continued support im so very grateful for each and everyone of you!

02.01.2022 Well what a year that was... firstly a huge thank you to all my valued clients, im so grateful for each and everyone of you, I've loved every moment of doing your hair and am so thankful you return every few weeks or months to see me! This year sure has been one of the strangest (understatement i know)! Ive loved listening to your positive stories and laughing until I have tears in my eyes or rolling on the floor. Thank you for making me smile and thank you for those who hav...e trusted me with some very special occasions it really is such a privilege. Ive also sat and cried with so many of you this year, I love that you trust me and feel so comfortable that you can just let it out. Please hang in there its nearly over and you made it through one of the toughest years we've had and im proud of you! Im not sure what to take from this year myself its been a roller-coaster that is for sure. This year has really shown me what's important though, its given me a chance back in April when the whole world stopped and I closed my doors to spend some real quality time with my kids, that time is irreplaceable. This year has given me a chance to slow down and to breathe, its given us the opportunity to buy a house that we can finally call our own. Its also seen my business grow so much and im so very lucky. Finally I need to say a huge thank you Bruce and my kids, thank you for being so patient with me while I work from our home you guys are so amazing and so supportive of my business and im so grateful. To my mum and dad, thank you for having my kids every holidays and every year at Christmas so I can do my 12 hour days everyday, id be so lost and couldn't do what I do without you. Merry Christmas to you all and thank you for your support in 2020. Have a safe and happy new year and look forward to seeing you all when I return from a well earned break in January And just a funny i post every year as this is literally me tonight when I'm finished for the year See more
