24.01.2022 Day 8 of the website being online and trying to be found with the search engines "Google, Yahoo, Bing". Google Search... I registered my URL when typing in SoSearch in Google's search bar (centre of the page, not top left of the page). Until then Sosearch,com.au just did not come up at all. I had more chance on being found on the deep web than through the Search Engines 'Google, Yahoo, Bing'.... I still have not received the Post Card from Google Maps for confirmation about the business address. Google only give you a month to validate the submission for your business after that if the post card hasn't arrived by general mail then you have to resubmit and wait all over again, which is irritating to say the least when you are trying to be found online by current and new customers. What ever I try doesn't seem to work... no matter how small the original image is.. back to the drawing board... I hope all are enjoying the nice spring day for Fathers day...

20.01.2022 Day 12 SoSearch.com.au of being found with Google, Yahoo, Bing... Google Search... I still haven't received the post card from Google Maps so I am still not being located on the right side of the list of returned business being found with the criteria that has the maximum user searches...... However with persistence I am not located on page 9... No there are not that many businesses in my immediate location... I am even lower than other industries that are located in my area...hummmm.... I know I harp on about "Free Websites" for your business... If you got on board years ago and uploaded a website built on a free template you may have a chance of being found... however if you are thinking of doing this now, not a chance of being located at the top of the rankings... As websites that are constantly being monitored and updated by Search Engine Specialists will rank eventually above your business in your area... How annoying is that going to be to you... 19.01.2022 Day 30 These last few days I started to get frustrated as all the effort that I had put in for the SEO process just wasn’t giving me the results I wanted. I continued to watch the progress on a day to day basis and still all I could expect was page 8 on google when I searched (search engine optimisation mornington peninsula) as this is my physical location, and even on page 8, sosearch.com.au was moving up and down. I was even thought about rebuilding my website as a fully ...Responsive website. However not needed at this time as when I checked this afternoon where my website was ranking I had a very pleasant surprise. You guessed it I am now found on the first page of Google. I have no paid advertising for my ranking only my skills in the complete SEO of my website. I am doing the happy dance right now So not to sit on my hands as quick as I was able to reach the rank of page 1 in Google, if I do nothing more to my website I will begin to lose my ranking. I guess you could say I invested my money on my skills and they are going to now start paying off. If you don't believe me just type in "search engine optimisation mornington peninsula" and find out for yourself!!!

15.01.2022 Day 19 Sadly I am still on page 8 however I am the first listing on page 8 no consolation as no one is still going to find me. Finally my Google Maps has been validated, only because I went back into the information page and noticed that my address couldn't be found and I had to move the pin to the same spot go figure, then and only then I had the ability to have a code telephoned to my number yehhh So all of the Google products are not validated. I would have thought t...hat there would have been some increase in my ranking because of the importance google places on good content to a website, not in this case. I am still behind listings that are sub content you know those funny URL’s with all of the (F@*&^%$K*&^%#@U) characters in them, the websites that have successfully been SEO’d and taking up rankings with their numerous pages. Who knows where http://sosearch.com.au will be tomorrow or the next day!!! Keep reading, and I will keep working at increasing my ranking on Google.

09.01.2022 I dropped the ball on my website search engine optimisation for the last 90 days and I have lost my ranking. This only goes to show how sensitive Google Crawlers are especially when eliminating websites that they believe are spam... My website is also located among the most competitive industry as we are professionals in the industry of what you know as "The Internet".. this is what we know and if our website isn't what we say we do then all the experience or education doesn...'t matter it is how we apply our knowledge and how hard we will work to produce the best outcome. Back to the drawing board for me... all that work I did to get to page on gone... I am glad that I don't have to pay someone to do the work all over again... I just have to give up more of my limited spare time to bring my website back up to the first page... where it belongs...

I had noticed that my Ranking with Google had climbed to page 8 (Day 13) and to page 7 (Day 14) with lots of SEO adding to the content in the website, changing the tags in the script, blogging on FB and Google+ about 4 hours in total of my time and skills put to the test of increasing my Ranking in the Google Search Results. Rather than flood you with this information on a daily as too much too soon and you would thin...k you are reading the story of Watching Grass Grow I worked tirelessly behind the scenes and my rankings were indeed rewarded However, and here is my experiment. Yesterday (Day 15) I did absolutely nothing with the SEO of http:sosearch.com.au. This morning http:sosearch.com.au has dropped back to page 8, when searching with the same words. The Operations Risk questions is: Do I sit on my hands and not SEO my website and see where the ranking of my website sits on day 17 or do I engage in SEO work and keep my website rankings climbing.
