12.01.2022 Congratulations to our 2016 student president ALI BROOKER From Ali...... "Before discovering chiropractic, I was a professional ballet dancer in Europe however my career was cut short due to injury and homesickness. I was always interested in the mind-body connection as well learning more about what habits enabled the body to perform at its best and had thought I wanted to pursue a future in psychology. On returning to Australia I began a CA job in Sydney and was amazed to learn chiropractic and its philosophy answered so many of my questions. After more travelling round the globe, I decided to begin my formal chiropractic studies at Macquarie University in 2011. In an effort to expand my education and further my skills, I transferred to New Zealand College of Chiropractic at the end of 2013 and am very happy with my decision. I have an interest in working with families and elite artists and believe SOT is a wonderful and all-encompassing tool to enable me to do so. Although I do still love to travel, I look forward to beginning my professional career in this region later this year." See more
