25.01.2022 Anyone who has had the pleasure to meet me in the past 17 years has met my dog Milan. On the weekend he has had a small stroke, which made me aware of the impermanence of life, the tenderness of the heart and how important it is to care and show love every day. TELL THE PEOPLE, ANIMIALS AND CREATURES IN YOUR LIFE, THAT YOU LOVE THEM.... ITS ALWAYS NICE TO HEAR, EVEN WHEN WE KNOW THAT WE ARE LOVED. There will be a day when we can't and the question we are left with in our he...arts is... "Have I loved enough"? And I wish for myself and everyone I care about that we can look back and say YES!!! Milan is fine for now and the small lesion in his brain is healing. A big shout out to Connels Point Vet for being very understanding, supportive and offering natural options of medicina's that allows him to relax and enjoy his everyday life. 16.01.2022 It took time and it took space to create this altar and to pray. Pray for the support of my ancestry, pray for my medicine to embody even more. Today on my walk I noticed the white cockatoo had chewed the flowers of the bottle brush tree. Both the cockatoo and the bottlebrush are part of my medicine. The birds relentless screeching not ashamed of its voice, not waiting to be invited to speak but talks when it is required. Claiming the space in the air with free falling play a...nd acrobatic manoeuvres not many are skilled enough to handle. The bottle brush’s gentle energy holding the medicine of the female linage and healing of the mother daughter wound. Being a constant support to brush the past away and transition more pure more clear more powerful into the next adventure. Honouring the elements and space.... ahhhh space.... such a needed and rare occurrence. Looking at cultivating more of it as time progresses. ANCESTRAL WISDOMis something that we all have- including white womben! In prepatriarchal times we were all connected to the land and the elements our cycles our wisdom plants and animals each other . . However we were murdered, tortured, burnt at the stake for this connection. FOR THIS POWER. Feminine wisdom was demonised. Its tradition stolen by religion and we eventually relinquished the feminine way for survival. . . We took on science over gnosis, we bred internalised misogyny, we let toxic societal structures divide and disconnect us. There is no is way womben in prepatriarchal times would allow what has happened to our BIWOC or BIPOC in general happen. Or our sisters in other lands. Or to Mother Earth. It would have hurt us ALL deeply. . . This is the wisdom that wombens wisdom educators teach like myself @tanishkathemoonwoman and @withinwoman. We are rebuilding the ancient wisdom of the womb and feminine power. . . REMEMBER HOW BIG YOU ARE SISTERS. May we look to our BIWOC for examples of strength, they have had to relinquish a lot more than white sisters have had to to survive- which is a lot. . .
