Learn about some of the more common mental health issues and how to respond if someone you know is experiencing mental health decline or a mental health crisis. You become an accredited mental health first aider with @mhfa_australia for 3 years.

09.01.2022 Showing kindness during this time of uncertainty and doubt will keep us connected. This pic was taken at one of our last courses a few backs. If you see or hear someone distressed, approach them (while maintaining the recomended distance) - talk to them, send them a text or give them a call. Listen to what they have to say and keep judgement and biases out of the picture. Offer support and acknowledge how they are feeling-all feelings are valid no matter how big or small. Encourage them to get professional support if needed-there are many options for telehealth as the country isolates and moves online. Encourage more support and connection online with friends and family.
