18.01.2022 IS PROCRASTINATION CREATING YOU STRESS Procrastination can be as simple as scrolling through social media rather than doing your housework. It is quite normal to avoid tasks you don't like in favour of one which is more enjoyable or easier to do. However, procrastination can create a never-ending cycle of stress, defeat, and frustration. When you are faced with a challenging task you feel overwhelmed and don't know where to start, how to do it or whether you are even ...capable of getting it done. You then avoid the task which leaves you feeling stressed about what you haven’t done. The cycle continues. Here are some tips I have used in the past which help me get started. Ask questions. Seeking clarification around the task and understanding it better always helps reduce my anxiety or fear around what I need to do. Break it down. I like to break down the big task into small achievable steps so I can find a starting point with a clear path to the finish line and I can see my achievements along the way. Get rid of distractions. Tough one can you really survive without checking social media every 5 minutes?? Do hardest tasks first. The most difficult tasks won’t go away (unfortunately ), so I like to get those done first thing in the morning which is my most productive part of the day. When you learn how to take charge of your life, your self-esteem improves and self-confidence grows which empowers you to create the life you want to live. #stressfreelife #corporatewellness #healthcoach

10.01.2022 WHY I BECAME A HEALTH COACH As someone who has always loved playing sport and keeping active, having chronic fatigue was such a challenging and life changing experience. Whilst chronic fatigue took my energy away, I still kept my competitive and optimistic spirit, so I was always prepared to learn new things, step out of my comfort zone and take risks to rebuild myself physically, mentally and emotionally. There were a few more hurdles along the way (hello workplace ...stress ), but I eventually found the courage to turn my passion for being active and healthy into my profession and began laying the foundations towards the creation of Soul Flourish. Fast forward to today and I feel energised, in control of my destiny and with a genuine passion to empower others to be the best version of themselves. 03.01.2022 DO YOU HAVE AMAZING FRIENDS? I am such a lucky person to have some incredible friends who I absolutely adore. I have friends who make me belly laugh, who I can pour my heart out to and who I can turn to for inspiration and guidance. They accept me for who I am, love me without judgement and surround me like a warm hug when I am going through a difficult time. People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. Regardless of their purpose, how long you stay ...friends or how often you see them, friends play such an important role in your overall happiness and wellbeing. They can help you celebrate your successes, mourn your losses or just help you escape reality with a girl’s weekend away or night on the town. Next time you are feeling isolated, stressed or lost in your own busy and chaotic world, find a moment to catch up with one of your besties, re-engage with an old friend or simply reflect and smile about the good times you have had together.
