03.01.2022 This is why I DONT use smudge sticks anymore .... These bundles of sage, sometimes called "smudge sticks," can be found everywhere! Am I right? I think I even saw one in a discount shop. So many claim these sticks will help cleanse your home of negativity! ... That the smoke is believed to energetically cleanse a person or space. That it is helpful for lifting dense stagnant energies in a cluttered home. We should all know better by now! But if you don't? Consider this your official notice: It's time to stop burning sage to help clear anything!!! Why? Because aromas of any kind do not bring about permanent change. As soon as the incense smoke disappears from the air, any uplifting effect is lost. Speaking for myself (Trust me - I am guilty for I too used sage and smudge sticks many years ago) what I've been taught about in recent years is that I can do so much more with MY energy That I can cleanse my space using my own energy, be it in visualisation or meditation!
