24.01.2022 Being healthy isn't a fad or diet it's a lifestye conscious choice. How do I nourish my body? First, I am very particular with what I put into my body, the type of foods, primarily wholefoods & absolutely 100% no tox! ... My family eat veggies, fruits, and sometimes a little bit of sweets (healthy of course!) or carbs to reward ourselves with heavenly foods. I always make sure that there’s a good balance in everything. Second, I organize a regular working pattern in moving my body daily! It is not a requirement, but to be physically active means we balance our food intake with exercising our body! And lastly, I always provide vitamins and minerals for our daily intake because these are the essential nutrients that the body can't make but needs to for our body to function at it's optimum for healthy bones, heal wounds, and bolster our immune systems. In fact, vitamins and minerals take up the role in nourishing our body in order to make us feel good all the time! Sometimes I get lazywhen by myself, but a friend always holds me accoutable to do the work! ... If you find it boring being alone, try calling a friend as being together can help you both to get to your goals faster and grind harder! Exercising with a friend reduces boredom. As you walk together, you’ll notice that time goes by really fast, and if you can’t find a buddy to match a similar pace with you when hitting your health goals, listen to a music or a podcast can serve as good companion too! Having a walking buddy doesn’t only help you to improve your overall health like strengthening your bones, losing weight, or developing a good stamina, it'll make you feel happier & develop a positive energy, which can improve a better connection, communication, and relationship towards your family and friends! 21.01.2022 Have you ever felt like you are being drowned and it’s almost like you cannot breathe with all the stress, pressure, and worry? Don’t worry you’re not alone in that. I used to struggle with s similar experience too. It was so hard that I even thought I’d never get through it all. I tried so many things, but it took me so long to find my own healing, until I discovered a very powerful weapon that helped me rise from all that’s been drowning me. It allowed me to release my stre...ss, to speak up from my heart, to breathe out what I’ve been keep in, and it boosted my mood better that how I did before. If you all are getting so curious now, then it’s none other than meditation. I know we all have different beliefs and ways to cope up. Some of you may beg to disagree, but for me, meditation helped me get back on the right state of mind. It took me a while, but it was all worth the ride. Meditation is a very effective transformative tool. It teaches self-love, promotes to be wildly healthy, and to shift our former kind of drowning to drowning with love. Meditation did multiple of good things to me!I I learned to forgive, to see light amidst the darkness, to have good sleep, and to accept myself for who I am and to recognize my own worth. Meditation heightened my inner peace, lesser stress, and a heart thumping with love. 16.01.2022 Stress is a normal part of life. Everywhere we go, whatever circumstances we may involve ourselves in, stress will always plow the road to walk it’s way into our lives. For me, stress drains me. But in the long run, I have perceived stress as a driving force that encourages me to make things better--especially at home with my family!... As parents and as a mother myself, we take care of the household, the family and work. Day by day it gets stressful along with managing my children. And if these things are not handled well, then unhealthy lifestyle is already waving. First of all, evaluate your lifestyle. As parents it is important to show good behaviors in front of your children because they follow whatever they learn and see at home. Second is to create a healthy family environment. When there are problems, talk them out calmly. Look over all situations and judge them according to what resolution suits the matter being discussed. Conversing with your children will encourage better communication and openness at home. Lastly, change one habit at a time. For instance if you’re stressed seeing your kids eating unhealthy foods, try to challenge them moving the body, explain the consequences of eating foods that isn’t good for the health, and motivate them for a good night’s sleep! This is not to scare them but to educate them what healthy living means! If you push to build a healthy working home environment, then it only means you are managing the issues, matters, and stress you experience at home very well! 13.01.2022 Taking care of myself was one of the biggest tasks I’ve ever had and it still is. To take care of ourselves may seem easy because we claim to know ourselves best right? But think about situations where you took good care of yourself in the middle of mental breakdowns, friends asking for your help at the same time, and your responsibilities being juggled in between.... It’s entirely exhausting. When I was in that phase, my emotional, physical, psychological, and spiritual health was affected immensely. That stage pushed me to set my mind with positivity! It’s truly a big help because the mind is powerful in its own way. It can swallow our overall being especially when we tend to believe what we think. The way our thoughts work influences our overall health so much, which is why self-care brought me to take regular exercises, breathing exercises, eating nutritious foods, treat myself out, hang out with my friends in a safe space and talk about life, and most of practice self-reflection. As I come to engage with different personalities and interact with unique mindsets, I realize there’s much more than to what I have already believed. 08.01.2022 Honestly, I love exercise, I love to move, even if just for a brisk walk! But some days I find exercise to be really exhausting, I’d rather enjoy other things than drag myself through a tiresome workout. That was where I realized I was wrong. Exercising existed for the purpose of getting in the groove to achieve a healthy lifestyle.... Think about it. If we get to live healthily, there’s a higher chance of doing the things we love longer and to have more room for accomplishments. This is why you need to move your body as much as you can! 08.01.2022 In life, it is not a requirement to overwork ourselves just because we’re pressured of being empty handed. The more that we force things the more they get worse. Why not take everything in baby steps. Refuel yourself. Maybe you just need time to reflect and relax to ponder on things. As I see it, gaining nothing from overworking because we fear failure, is unhealthy. It is honestly unhealthy, especially when there’s comparing of achievements happening in between. 07.01.2022 As a mother, we always feel this responsibility to keep a clean environment at home. It stresses me out whenever I come back home from work, and the whole house is a mess! 02.01.2022 A clean environment at home is a healthy home and it starts with the smallest detailslike cleaning your toothbrush! Weird isn’t it? Because who actually thinks about cleaning or toothbrush? ... Here's the thing, our mouth is prone to millions of germs, including those living in the plaque of our teeth, so it's no surprise that these germs can be attached to our toothbrush. Take note, that after every use of our toothbrush, we should always have clean hands and have the toothbrush under a running water after cleansing. If you wish to disinfect the germs from it, boiling your toothbrush for about 3 minutes can help killing most of the germs! Another option is to soak it in a cup of hydrogen peroxide after each use or in a mixture of white vinegar, water, and baking soda and soak your toothbrush in the solution for 30 minutes. It is very essential that we practice proper hygiene at home, like how I store my tooth brush properly to prevent germs and replace your them after three or four months of use!
