24.01.2022 TRANSFORMATIONS We bloody love them, as they go so much deeper than just the surface. I’ve had a rough year (haven’t we all?). My self-confidence has been pretty low and my lifeless hair had definitely seen better days. I’d booked in to have a small trim/basic colour but after discussing with Krystal how I felt she gave me a few suggestions and I let her remove the mirror and have free rein on my hair.... Krystal listened to me about what I liked, how I was used to styling my hair and my budget (being a student). Taking this information, with her experience, she was able to give me something fresh and new. Not only did she consider my needs and budget now, but in the future as well, attempting to ensure hair upkeep minimal! I don’t usually like taking photos of myself, but I think shes done a pretty great job. So, I will share below. It is subtle, yet, completely different to what I have always had. Thanks ladies. 23.01.2022 The time has arrive to share our News... As you all know our beautiful Amanda, son Cruz and husband Jason welcomed their new baby girl into the world, by the name of Summer. Not only did Amanda have a traumatic birth and new born, she navigated the salon through many changes and a pandemic, all while home schooling her big boy Cruz! How we all asked? Well she did it, and made it through the other side. To say she is a Super Woman is a understatement, not many people could d...o what she did, or create what she has created here with Amandas House Of Hair. Amandas vision, determination and passion has grown this business from a little home salon into a amazing boutique Eco and Organic haven (The little house on the hill). In life things change, plans change and families grow, so we adapt, we shift and we change with it. Which leads to the courageous decision for Amanda pass on the salon to her friend and staff member Krystal. Donating hair for wigs, is not as easy as people think and needs to done using a special procedure. If this is not done correctly the hair cannot be used for wigs. This is an amazing example of a strong young woman, knowing who she is, wants what she wants and stepping out of her comfort zone.
