19.01.2022 Energetic Healing I started studying my Diploma or Energetic Healing at the Awareness Institute in 2012 and from that point onwards my life completely changed. Energy Healing is a holistic approach which brings balance and harmony to our subtle energy system, it connects our physical and energetic body. When our body is stressed (physically and emotionally) our chakras can become blocked which can cause a whole lot of issues. If you feel out of alignment, emotional or "just... don't feel yourself" then chances are your chakras are out of balance. Think of a time when you have met someone and without even talking they have those "good vibes" beaming, the type of energy that just brings joy and positivity to everyone they come in contact with. They are vibrating on a higher frequency, their subtle energy system is clear of any blocks and in alignment. Or when you walk into a room and immediately feel a drop in energy, places hold energy as well. What happens in an Energy Healing session Everyone is different and each experience is unique but as a guideline I will give an example of my healing sessions. I sit down with my healer and talk about what’s been happening in my life or if there are any issues that I want to release. After we talk for about 10 minutes I lay the massage table on my back fully clothed and my healer will then move her hands (above my body) from my head down to my toes to sense how my energy feels. She will check each chakra to feel if it’s too opened, if it’s blocked or needs re-charging. After she identifies how my energy feels she will remove any negative or stagnant energy by doing an energy clearing. After she has removed all the negative energy in my body and auric field she will fill my body with beautiful positive energy and will balance my Chakra’s. Remember this is a general speaking example, throughout the session the healer may use many different tools and techniques such as crystals, colour, Past Life Regression, meditation, reiki, sound, Bowen Therapy, Kinesiology, timeline therapy + lots more. It’s important to trust and feel a connection with your healer, do your research and connect with a healer that feels right. After my healing I always say I feel like my soul has had the most nourishing massage. My mind, body and spirit feel aligned as well as a deep connection with the universe. I have used these tools over the last several years and they have completely changed my life! Regardless of your initial reaction to these techniques, I encourage you to have an open mind over the next 10 days and decide which tools feel right for you.... You might like to put these into your daily routine, but remember you don't have to do these techniques on a daily basis to see results - (better if you do, but anything is better than nothing). 07.01.2022 The 2nd tool I want to talk about is AFFIRMATIONS. What we think about ourselves becomes the truth for us. Every thought we think is creating our future. We have to change our thought patterns if we want to change what happens in our life.... Every word and thought is an affirmation whether you are aware or not. You are affirming and creating your present moment AND future. Happiness is a choice, your words are a choice, your thoughts are a choice There are some days or times in our life where we just can't seem to pull ourself out of a negative mindframe. During these times, affirmations are a great tool to use that will help you break that negative self talk. Change the thought and the feeling will follow. Sometimes all you want to do is sit there and recite everything that frustrates you or makes you sad. BUT these are the situations where affirmations will help you shift your focus a whole lot easier. The first thing you have to do is catch your negative self talk and immediately change your words. Write down "I am" affirmations such as: I am enough I am safe I am amazing I am calm I am at peace I am confident I am the change I am centered I am empowered I am beautiful I am fulfilled I like to put affirmations around the home, especially in the bathroom on the mirror. You might also like to write a list of affirmations and put it on the side of your bedside table so you can read it before you go to sleep. You can put affirmations in your car, at work or in a jar and choose one every day. Remember that the universe hears your words, if you say positive words than abundance of miracles and positivity will start flowing!
