23.01.2022 This . STRESS!! It’s even there when you can’t feel it! There are not too many people who deny a shoulder rub when your hand touches their upper back. In fact most people sink into it saying OMG I didn’t know I was so tight/sore. So many of us walk around unaware of the tension/stress we carry in our body... it’s not until it manifests in ways such as pain, disease, illness that we begin to reassess our levels of stress.... Over the next few weeks we are really focusing on the impact of lockdown and the toll it has taken on bodies, minds and spirits. . If you, your bubble buddy or a loved one feel it’s time to seek some help, we are now providing care packages at Soulpod. If you have never experienced the benefits of acupucture, you are in for a wonderful healing experience. For more information contact us [email protected]. . . . #healing #health #stress #relief #selfcare #selflove #health #healing #stress #friends #bubblebuddy #lockdown #mentalhealth #experience #freedom #balance #energy #qi #acupuncture #chineseherbs #drs #medicine #natural #healthiswealth #richmond3121 See more

22.01.2022 Everyone deals with difficult situations very differently. It's times like this when people you know may act "out of character" or seem very tense to be around. Just know they may be struggling with the uncertainty Melbourne brings. People may say things that are out of line, or seem quite rude, just remember, they are wounded too and it's not you it is their pain. Be kind and compassionate to them and grateful that you have evolved enough to understand to not take offence.

22.01.2022 Digestive issues is a very common complaint we see in the clinic. About 1 in 5 people in Australia have irritable bowel syndrome Approximately 24% of Australians suffer chronic constipation... Up to 60% of the population at some time during the year and 20-30% weekly, experience reflux, heartburn and acid regurgitation. In the conventional Doctors model, the treatments are all based on suppressing symptoms with drugslike antispasmodics, laxatives, proton pump inhibitors, and selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. Underlying causes like bacterial or fungal overgrowth, food intolerances parasites, and disruption of the gut microbiome are rarely addressed. . Yet even in Integrative medicine, which does a much better job of testing for and treating conditions, one root cause of digestive problems is often overlooked: STRESS. Stress is often the primary driver of gut issues in a significant percentage of the population. Researchers found that oxytocin, the so-called love hormone, counteracts the effects of stress on the gut. Oxytocin reversed the delay in gastric emptying that stress often causes, and it improved the motility (muscle contractions) of the gut. Oxytocin is also known as the tend and befriend hormone, because of its association with pair-bonding and connection. There are several ways to promote oxytocin release naturally: Hug and cuddle . Acupuncture treatment . Get or give a massage . Watch an emotional movie . Listen to music that moves you . Experience sexual pleasure . If you’ve been struggling with digestive issues, I’d suggest incorporating more of these oxytocin-boosting activities into your daily routine.

18.01.2022 Right now more than ever, we need to support each other. . It's safe to assume that most people living in Melbourne are feeing deflated, frustrated, angry, scared and defeated. Extending lockdown, not lifting restrictions and plotting the long winded road to recovery is placing more stress on our mental, emotional and physical health than the virus itself. We are creatures of connection and we naturally thrive on energy exchange with others. It's a known fact that lonel...iness is disease, which leads to both physical and emotional deterioration and almost always other medical conditions, diseases or illness's. We are deeply saddened by the lack of understand the government has on preventative medicine. Our medicine is fundamentally based on preventing disease, rather than treating the sick. Usually our diary is full of patients who are maintaining and improving their good health; however this STAGE 4 LOCKDOWN has restricted many from coming in for their regular treatment. Please, if you need our support we are still here, open and looking after your health. Your health is your greatest wealth, so look after it, and please don't hesitate to contact us for advise, support and treatment. See more

18.01.2022 One passionate green thumb teaching a keen little green thumb. A lesson about what's in season, whats going to seed and where and what to cut for dinner. One young lady may not enjoy eating silverbeet on its own, however making green smoothies for breakfast is a winner. Silverbeet is a good source of vitamins A, C, B6 and K (important for helping your blood to clot).... It also contains riboflavin and folate and minerals such as potassium (which helps to regulate blood pressure) and manganese (involved in the regulation of brain and nerve function). . As Hippocrates says Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food. See more

15.01.2022 We have seen so much suffering in the last 6 months, more than ever before. We not only crave human connection, but we need it to help build hormones, neurotransmitters and good health. We are all connected via a universal energy that vibrates within every person, animal and everything. So next time your out for your walk or morning coffee try and tune into those around you and sense their level of energy or vibration. If they are low, offer them a warm smile and if they are buzzing with feeling good, smile along with them as vibrations are contagious. Be careful

09.01.2022 Treatment with Acupuncture for calming the Shen. Otherwise translated as settling ones spirit. A combination of points on the head and distal points helps decrease the fight and flight hormones and activate the rest and relaxation part of the brain. Feeling the body relax during treatment can depend on how anxious or stressed someone is. ... It’s an amazing feeling when you sense the body dropping into the zone or feel yourself drifting off to sleep. Throughout this pandemic we have been able to help and support our community for those who are suffering anxiety, panic attacks, deep despair and feelings of depression. . . #spirit qi #energy #acupuncture #anxiety #depression #covid #natural #Drs #care #heal #health #relax #balance #yintang #chinesemedicine #medicine #richmond3121

09.01.2022 Each of our treatment rooms overlooks this tranquil courtyard. And on some days, if your lucky you may be able to spot a very small garden fairy. We have been very fortunate to stay open and provide support to our SoulPod community. Over the last few months the littlest members of the family have certainly showed resilience and adaptability. Like all of us, they have been challenged, thrown out of routine, lost connection with friends, and unable to visit family and loved... ones. Not all children will be able to bounce back into the new normal without bumps and scratches. Many will feel anxious, worried, uncomfortable, angry ect ect. Hopefully in time these feelings will dissipate, however if not try some energy work. Kids respond really well and quick to energy medicine. They are often more responsive than adults as they have so much more energy to move. Energy work includes breath work, exercise, acupuncture, kinesiology, meditation, hiking in nature ect ect. If you need some more guidance we would love to help. See more

01.01.2022 We are so happy to be helping our beloved community regain courage, strength and good health. We have seen too many deflated souls suffering both mentally and physically in silence. It is no surprise that people are feeling depressed, unmotivated, anxious and helpless, we have never lived through anything like this on such a global scale. In Melbourne the energy is starting to change slowly. Some people are feeling hope, and others feel heavy hearted with knowing there is a l...ong way to go until we feel a sense of freedom. So; check in on your own energy. Do you feel energetic and motivated? Or are you feeling low, blocked, heavy or even scattered. The way energy works is like an exchange. In fact your bodies energy runs 100% parallel to the the energy in the environment. So to enhance your energy each day, start the day with some intentional deep breathing for 1-2 minutes. Make sure you take a walk in nature, talk to a friend, make healthy food choices and remember to be grateful for this game called life. See more
