25.01.2022 Hi fb-friends, for those of you who are contemplating to replace cows milk or have already done it, this is an interesting article about OATS MILK I have tried out a few different brands and they make my tea taste really good https://sentientmedia.org/what-oat-milks-rising-popularity/

15.01.2022 Dear fb friends, can someone here help with some technical advice? As I am a newbie to the social media world, I have no idea what to do to improve the quality of the VIDEOS I would like to put on fb They look all good on my mobile and, once uploaded to fb, turn into this really bad quality, that I personally wouldn't bother watching. Is it a setting on my camera? Or how do you guys do it? Really really would like to know as I would love start sharing SOULS AND STARS SANC...TUARY events with you Thank you from all us here (feeling like an ancient artefact ) Ps this is little Salome, might be laughing about my technology skills .......

06.01.2022 HOW MUCH DO ANIMALS LOVE? It was a few years ago, that I was told about a feral cat that was trapped by a cat rescuing lady, and was looking for a foster home. His sister, who got trapped with him, had already people interested in her, but the boy was described as wild and not approachable. That, and the fact that he was a ginger, where the only information I had about him. So I tried to talk to him from the distance, and the moment I connected with him, a scream came in, so ...Continue reading

06.01.2022 Hi fb friends, is it as hot at your place as it is here in Toodyay at SOULS AND STARS SANCTUARY? So whilst it is nearly impossible to do anything but to hide somewhere, I thought I might as well bring one of my thoughts to canvas, just to put it out there.... Recently I was watching a movie, and in it they showed an animal being tortured. Although you couldn't see it happen, it stayed with me throughout the whole movie and spoiled the watching experience for me. So I was ...thinking: movies have a rating for violence, a rating for adult themes, a rating for course language...... wouldn't it be appropriate to have a rating for cruelty against animals too? I am not talking about the "humane society" that controls the making of the movie to ensure that animals are not harmed on set....... What I am talking about is ME as a consumer getting harmed by images that get stuck in my brain like someone elses chewing gum under my table. So wouldn't it be great to add this type of rating to Hollywood & Co, so people like me and so many of you I know, who are very sensitive to this form of imagination, could decide to NOT watch the creating? Because to us it is in no way entertaining but disturbing ...... Food for thought on a very hot day, stay cool and trust that we can change the world

06.01.2022 So, this was the year. Some of you might say it was a "bad" year, some of you might call it a "strange" year, and I think we can all agree it was a somehow different year. With respect to all of you who couldnt wait for it to be over, I have to say I loved this year. Don't get me wrong, I feel with those who lost their family members or friends, or even the ones who died as a result of being infected.... Here I am talking from a very personal perspective. To me this year was special. All of a sudden the world slowed down. Became quieter. Deeper somehow. And underneath the panic there was ..... stillness. People retreated. People slowed down. And earth took a deep breath. It was such a nice experience to have my husband home for weeks, working in the office and emerging from time to time to join me for a cuppa. Or the drive on the otherwise so busy highway. Or the creative solutions people came up with all over the world to deal with being confined. The solidarity that came to the surface to support others in challenging situations. And yes, I enjoyed watching the clips of humans all over the world dancing the "Jerusalema dance", my favorite one coming from Africa, danced with the rescue rhinos! Now this year is over, and people here talk about "back to normal" and "let's hope for a better year". I loved this year. And I in no way intend to talk down your experiences and feelings of discomfort or worse. I just would like to share that 2020 to me was a powerful opportunity to see the chance in the crisis. May all of you transition calm and joyful into the new year Good-bye from here. See more

05.01.2022 I AM ENOUGH AS I AM I just came across this quote, together with one of Charlie Mackesy's beautiful drawings, and it inspired me to tell you the story of DEVA. Some years ago my daughter was asked by one of her teachers, who knew about our horse rescue work, if we could help out. His neighbor had recently taken on a rescue horse, but her own horses wouldn't stop bullying her, so she was looking for a better suited home for her. When we are asked to take on an animal we don't ...Continue reading
