25.01.2022 This melanated Tarot deck was created to honor my Black heritage. It is a love offering to the Black LGBTQIA+ community whose voices & identities are vastly underrepresented. Courtney Alexander’s images on each of the tarot cards, are powerful, beautiful & evocative. I found myself intrigued with desire to learn more about their deep meaning & was delighted with what I discovered & learned about a very spiritual culture (& ultimately, about myself)

14.01.2022 The Tarot, or The Hero’s Journey, is navigated by The Fool. The only tarot card w a zero on it, all other cards adhere to the Roman Numeral System. Once the Arabic numbering system included the zero (btwn 400-600AD) human consciousness was expanded; measuring, trading & building all experienced a rapid expansion benefiting all of humanity. This fact bears much importance when investigating this tarot card & it’s archetypal meaning. Don’t be fooled by its appearance!
