21.01.2022 We hope everyone has had a great Festive season so far. We have just left for Tooleybuc NSW where we will perform tonight as the first of 23 shows in 30 days. W...e then cross over the river and perform two shows in Victoria and then spend all of January touring throughout NSW. We are looking forward to catching up with a lot of great freinds. Coincidently New Years Eve will be our 500th gig!! since we began performing as Lily and the Drum five years ago. New Years eve for us will be in Koondrook, we had a fantastic time in Koondrook/Barham earlier this year and are really looking forward to a big night in this beautiful river town. Just a couple of statistics: Lily and I have loaded and unloaded 293 tonnes of music gear, travelled 193,715km to performances in SA, NSW,ACT & VIC. (still havent found the time to get to WA, QLD, TAS & NT but on the cards for 2017) and Lily has never got past "two" at sound check, but the audience has on many occasions (sorry Musos joke!). 01.01.2022 Thank you all so much. :) On Behalf of everyone from Ironhorse we wish to say that all you people from both Friday and Saturdays shows (that is about 900 hundr...ed of you!!) made us feel so very special and about 20 years younger!! We were humbled by your show of support. It was special for us to see so many people catch up and relive those heady days of our youth. I believe people flew in from just about every state to join the party. Fantastic!. Apologies to those that missed out on tickets, might have to try for an annual event??? Also want to thank all of our road crew who also reunited for the event Tommy Westerholm, Tony Daly, Tim Smith and Paul McCarthy and also Andrew Clifford and Mark from Gawler Lighting & Sound and to our hard working door staff Janet Peers, David Cooley, Amerie Morris, Katrina Paterson & Sue.
