25.01.2022 Today is Allied Health Professional Day! We would like to take a moment to show our appreciation for being one of the many allied health professions that make up a third of the workforce in the Australian health sector alone. Music therapists can work as part of an allied health team, alongside physiotherapists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, audiologists and so on. We work across a range of environments, from hospitals, rehabilitation centres, community centre...s or private practice like Sound Expression. We would particularly like to thank all the music therapists and allied health professionals for the work they are doing in contributing to COVID-19 recovery for individuals and for the ongoing care they are continuing to provide the broader community throughout the pandemic. #AHPsDay #strongertogether #alliedhealth #soundexpressionaustralia See more

18.01.2022 Alex learns the process of music production by recording a song! We are very excited to share this video preview of Alex performing 'Angel' by Sarah McLachlan. What started out as Alex learning more complex piano chords evolved to be a full audio production project. Alex learnt about vocal and piano recording, layering, and mastering the track all together to create this wonderful final product!... Thank you to Grace Elliott for sharing her knowledge about music production in working alongside Alex and his therapist, Iani Sujono, to produce this track. You can watch the full track on our YouTube channel by clicking on this link: https://youtu.be/KiZjVMmOAl0 We hope you enjoy watching this video as much as we did! #soundexpressionaustralia #musictherapy
