24.01.2022 Here is the live recording from a Soundfood I did for my mate Michaels birthday celebrations here at headquarters in Preston. I'd had a run of challenging and not so enjoyable events leading up to this one which had sapped my energy a little. What transpired this evening reminded of why I do what I do. A lovely receptive crowd and electric vibe all round. I was super happy with how the food turned out, and this mix showcases the absolute freedom I have with Soundfood to play ...a wide range of everything I love. From house to techno, funk to disco, pop to prog and everything in between! Here is what I cooked on the evening: -Seared green tea spiced yellowfin tuna/oyster mushrooms with honey soy ginger dipping sauce -Fried chicken/halloumi sliders with Mums coleslaw and hot sauce -Cape Grim porterhouse/Swiss brown mushroom on roast kestrel potato with mushy peas and habanero mustard -Pulled pork/chilli bean taco with roasted fennel and tomato salsa -Lemon tart with berry compote And here is what I played: https://soundcloud.com/markjandsound/soundfood-live-at-home See more

On the menu was some sweet potato, chipotle, chilli bean tacos with kewpie mayo and a guacamole salsa combo. All wrapped in delicious @elcielo_mexican Tortillas. 03.01.2022 Sending out a huge thankyou to everyone who attended my Soundfood shows over the weekend! A special thankyou to my superstar guest dj Mr Aaron Stringer, my impromptu superstar guest dj Michael Batley, and my two milkshake slingers Yasmin Ellis and Kenny Fantastic. I'm happy to announce that my next Soundfood will be in Japan in a couple of weeks! Excitement is definitely over-riding hangover.

03.01.2022 So after an inspiring trip to Japan to showcase Soundfood, I'm back in Melboner and ready to get back to work on my home patch. This Saturday I'll be doing a Soundfood Oktoberfest special.
