This year we have set a target of $50,000 and we would be incredible grateful for your support. We have had a great start and are delighted to announce that we have $15,000 already committed from the Insurance Advisernet Foundation!! Our team is called Hayleys Heroes 2018 and we are walking for the 120,000 Australians living with type 1 diabetes. Our goal is to raise funds to support research to cure, prevent and treat this terrible disease. Since last year Hayley has become very involved as an advocate for JDRF in the quest to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. Hayley has recently had the privilege of meeting our PM, Mr Malcolm Turnbull, she has filmed a TV commercial with Ian Botham and was also the face of the June 30 Tax Time Appeal. Hayley is very determined to promote awareness of T1 Diabetes and to help fund a cure for this disease. Thanks Simon Feldman

20.01.2022 CORONAVIRUS UPDATE - TRAVEL INSURANCE The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) has now raised the level of travel advice for mainland China to level 4 do not travel. With this increase it means that many travelers are able to claim under their travel insurance policies* if they are/were going to travel to China and elect to cancel their trip or other options that may be able to them.... *All travel policies are different and I encourage you to read your PDS or contact us to confirm if this applies to you. The increase also means that should travelers elect to STILL travel even with the do not travel warning in place, some policies contains Exclusions for acting against Travel Warnings. One such example is: any loss or expenses which arises in connection with or is contributed by You undertaking any Trip or part of Trip against travel advice where the Commonwealth Department of Foreign Affairs (DFAT) has issued a do not travel warning. There are a number of updates coming through all the time regarding the virus and readers should stay up to date through the Australian Government Department of Health Website and Smart Traveller
