25.01.2022 There are some amazing records due out very soon, made right here at Sound Recordings... One of which is Georgia Spain's 'Trouble isn't Something you can Hold'. This recording took place on the cusp of winter last year and has remained to be one of the most memorable and moving recording experiences I've ever had. I'm extremely proud of Georgia, and this record, and can't wait for everyone to hear it. Please help G get this thing pressed! Oh, and it will be a 100% analogue record! Master tapes are geared up ready to be sent to the plant for lacquer transfer.

25.01.2022 BOOM!)))))))) we've exploded into the 70s! July of 1977, to be precise. Here's the latest edition to the Sound Recordings machine family - a whopping 1" 8-track MCI JH-114. 8 tracks of maximum headroom! This model was manufactured for a brief period between the JH16 and JH24 series. Daniel and Greg from Dex Audio have done a phenomenal job refurbishing this machine. The electronics and tape path have been modified to the nines - making it flatter, smoother, and LOUDER than ev...er. This beast is now pushing 410 nanowebers to tape, with no audible distortion. (that's a lot of nanowebers!) )) (( )) (( Complete with wood veneer, this deck is perfect for legit punk-rock, tight coke-fuelled disco, slamming proto hip-hop, and super slick Nashville country records! Stoneking rolls in like Bing Sinatra to make a last minute Christmas record. /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ Had to pull out the tone generator and align the Ampex 300 one last time.
