25.01.2022 Fascinating listening on Radio Adelaide with the prophetic playwright, Alex Vickery-Howe discussing the genesis of Watchlist, a play in which life as we know if is irrevocably altered by a zoonotic pathogen. Alex wrote the play a year ago, it was due for production through South Australian Playwrights Theatre this June, directed by Lisa Harper Campbell and will be published by Currency Press later this month. Its a stunning piece of writing and we find ourselves in a posit...ion of irony upon tragic irony at not being able to produce it live, in front of actual people, when we had initially intended. However, we are so proud of Alexs tour de force (who has found himself in a very surreal position) and will be looking to release it in an audio format in the not so distant future, before the full production, most likely now to be held at the end of the year or early 2021. http://radioadelaide.org.au/audio-player/ #currencypress #saplaywrightstheatre #newwriting #adelaidetheatre

Like everyone else we have moved online during these uncertain and challenging times, and while nothing will ever be able to match face-to-face contact and the 'live' experience (and hugs!), we are extremely grateful for having these options available to us and to still be able to connect with one another while working on future productions.
