25.01.2022 ***MONDAY NIGHT JUNIOR TRAINING POSTPONED*** December 7th 2020...Unfortunately with the high winds that are in effect at the moment we have decided to postpone tonight's junior training session. Not so safe to be our there in that wind tonight & not much fun either. ... The good news is we would like the juniors to come along as per last Wednesday night at 5.00pm & do the junior session before the Seniors start training. Please share this news with anyone who may be affected by this tonight. Sorry for the late notice.

11.01.2022 Good luck to all juniors racing State Championships at the Superdrome this weekend. For the rest of us Track Racing at Etown tonight awaits!!! Sign on from 5.30pm & racing starts at 6.15pm... Any age & any ability is catered for - what a great way to sign off from the Monday-Friday working week and it's fun. Even better - we have the world famous BBQ cooking up a storm. Speaking of the BBQ - we are always looking for helpers as with any club like ours - volunteers make the club what it is. If anyone would like to grab a pair of tongs & flip burgers & snags tonight please let us know. That's Daniel on the front below who has only just started riding track literally about 2 months ago - look at him go ! We love seeing Juniors especially learning the track & progressing so much in such a short space of time. 02.01.2022 Junior Training is go for tonight BUT any non-licensed come & try riders will not be able to ride tonight unfortunately. Our insurance cover for come & tryers doesn’t start up again until next Monday January 11th. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

02.01.2022 We mentioned earlier that there are so many things happening at SCC in the next month here's more ... Only 2 more Friday Night's Racing dates before Christmas (December 11th & 18th), then we go to Mt Gambier (January 2nd & 3rd) South Coast Track Cycling Racing Edwardstown Velodrome... Friday December 11th is more of the good stuff that is Etown on a Friday night - sign on from 5.30pm then racing starts at 6.15pm. Friday December 18th is one we all look forward to every year - it's the end of year Xmas Cup on Wheels on the racing program, followed by presentations in the clubrooms afterwards. We invite all riders to dress up their bikes in Xmas Cheer with a prize for "best dressed" & we will do a Xmas parade lap before we have a race. Meals will be available so please let us know if you are coming & book your spot by email at [email protected] so we can ensure their will be kitchen staff to feed us & bar staff to serve some drinks in the club bar. Matthew Opperman & co have been doing lots of work on the velodrome - so it's looking great. Lets support our country friends & get down to the Mount and race. The local council has come on board with some generous sponsorship. If you are planning to come along we plan to travel on Saturday morning for an afternoon of racing, a social dinner at the local, Sunday Morning racing & head back to Adelaide on Sunday avo.
