Even then, it will take ou...r shire about 12 weeks to come through. The alternative is unthinkable. Our doctors, nurses and aged care workers cannot stay home. This virus has killed more than 30 doctors in Italy. Who will help you and yours if our health workers fall? We have no intensive care beds in the Eurobodalla Shire. The chronic lack of resourcing for regional health has come home to roost. Please tell everyone you know to stay home if they possibly can. Tell prospective visitors not to come and if they are here, to go home where they have a chance of securing an intensive care bed. 02.01.2022 Come on South Coast.....we showed the world we are NOT a community of panic ridden people during our bushfires. We stood strong together as a community and helped each other out. Time to get our community mojo back. Surely everyone, especially now, has enough to tide them over should there be a quarantine. Think of your neighbour or friend. Ask someone who may find it hard to even get to the shop if they need anything. PLEASE STOP PANIC BUYING EVERYTHING OFF THE SHELVES. Yes it was hard when we lost power fuel and shops closed during the fires. But we managed and that is unlikely to happen so lets be sensible.
