25.01.2022 WE HAVE FOUND ONE! I have some GREAT news. The big open hearts of Lyn and Sandra from the Pressie Church Fire Recovery Group have loaned Dave Crooke and his team a van. The van has a shower, toilet and comes with a purpose designed trailer. Thanks to Lyn and Sandra’s generosity Dave can help those folks who have lost everything in the recent fires. Dave can now stay on site in those remote areas instead of commuting in and out. To all those that have looked, shared or taken an interest in my previous post, asking for help, thank you. Let us all continue to help where we can as winter is quickly approaching. Yvonne

He said something to the effect 'History shows us that the only way defeat a bully, is not to appease, but to fight back'. Here is our chance to fight back. 15.01.2022 Good Friday Deliveries for many of our Fire Victims. Yvonne and Jill spent all day delivering food boxes from Tin Pot to Timbuckto. Tears of gratituted were seen in eyes of not a few recipients. Some one had remebered them. Showing the compassion of Jesus wasn't lost on them. Notwithstanding I think I'll be the one washing the car tomorrow.

11.01.2022 If you'd like to influence policy on the subject of religious freedom then Mark Latham has a bill before parliament which will afford the opportunity to do just that. For example under the current NSW legislation Christian teachers, nurses and doctors, who comment privately outside of work the place can be dismissed for what a complainant deems to be offensive, like God ordained marriage between a man and a woman, is regarded by militant LGBT activists as hate speech. This is just one example, the proposed legislation will give protection to Christians to practise their faith without being dragged before the courts and losing their jobs. We lost our beautiful son to cancer two years ago and we lost his tiny hand made house in the fire and all his precious things. We have been struggling with the loss but the kindness of others keeps us going. Love is Jesus’ message and we feel loved.
