14.05.2022 Great to be out and about on the land. Yesterdays visit shows how good the season is looking for cropping and so many calves and lambs. A beautiful property with beautiful people. Blessed beyond measure to have this appointment.

03.05.2022 Such vibrancy of colour and growth in the paddocks, praying the crops continue to flourish, reach maturity and provide much needed income for our farmers.

28.04.2022 A small glimpse on the many thousands of hay bales rendered useless now because of the mice. Devastating driving past and seeing this first hand. Talking with a farmer yesterday and their farm at Ballarat Victoria is also experiencing this plague, I didn’t realise just how wide spread this issue is.

22.04.2022 Last week I had the privilege of setting up a site with Denis and Kathleen at the Mossgeil biannual Field Day. So good to see a small remote community come together, share stories, support each other and look at the many exhibits. Thanks to Terry and Di for having this event on their property and to all those who attended this great day.

05.04.2022 Two weeks short of a year since John like many experienced the devastation of the bushfires. It’s been a tough year for him like so many others, it has been a real privilege to journey with John this year. Great to see he has started to re-establish his stock from scratch and rebuild his farm. A humbling experience being a Rural Chaplin in what has been a very difficult year.

02.04.2022 Blessed to be a Rural Chaplain. I had a follow up visit with a couple yesterday who live in a beautiful but very isolated location. It was great to see the land slowly coming back to life after the fires, a little more difficult for people to recover. Richard did take me to his Special Place by the creek where he is starting to find some inner peace again. What a privilege to journey with these people as they rebuild some very broken lives.
