25.01.2022 South Gawler Football Club are excited to announce the appointment of Colin Wardrop as our Senior Women's Coach for 2021. Colin brings with him a wealth of experience in both playing and coaching within the SANFL, SAFA and VFL. His playing and coaching career has brought him into contact with the likes of Malcolm Blight and John Northey and skills coaching with some of the Freemantle Dockers. He has an extensive career within the Police Force and Army where he held Senior Coaching Positions in football. Most recently he has been working as a skills coach with our Under 13 boy's squad. We are excited to have Colin on board.

13.01.2022 Another great game this weekend for U 14 Lionesses s. Kicking our highest score ever and enjoying every bit of it. As noted even higher than some of the AFL teams this week. The girls under Coach Southy continue to improve every week and their enthusiasm and energy is second to none. Great tackling and second efforts were evident. Best this week were Anya, Kiara, Elodie, Big Sophie and Cheyenne. Goal kickers were Cheyenne and Libby. Go Lady Lions
