25.01.2022 Preventing Ten Pin Bowling Injuries Here's are a list of ten pin bowling tips that will help your prevent injury: 1.Always warm-up with a few body stretches before bowling. 2.Focus on your legs, back, neck and arm.... 3.Make sure your shoes are clean and dry before bowling. they need to slide. 4.Pick up the ball with two hands and bent knees and hips rather than your back. This’ll save your wrists and back! 5.Take care not to slide your hands between bowling balls and someone else's or you might smash your fingers. 6.Cradle the ball in your non-bowling arm and walk to your starting position. 7.After getting your feet in place, insert your fingers (fingers first, thumb last). 8.Deliver the ball and don't fall over! 22.01.2022 It was very encouraging to see the 19 women bowlers who rolled off last weekend, this indicates that the Holt fever is alive and well and we hope many if not all signed up for the draft. Next year we will have to get the Mens numbers up and knock off NSW for the highest number of bowlers

22.01.2022 Question: What if a Pin Falls Before My Ball Gets There? Answer: If, while in the process of making your delivery, a pin moves or falls down before your ball reaches there, you must call a dead ball and take another shot, without penalty. A pin could fall for a lot of reasons, some more ridiculous than others. Sometimes, pins are wobbling after the pinsetter places them on the lane, and if you don't wait for them to stop, one might topple over before your ball gets there. Or, in a rare instance, a bowler on an adjacent lane may take the worst shot of his life, throwing his ball onto your lane and knocking down your pins. In that case, you get to take another shot and that other bowler becomes the butt of jokes for a long time.

The students got really excited about this and were anxiously awaiting fro Thursday afternoon to arrive. On Thursday, at precisely 2. 55 pm, the teacher addressed the class. Australia's Tenpin Bowling History Australian tenpin bowling began at the Washington Bowling Saloon in Ballarat, Victoria, in 1885, the records in Sydney's Mitchell Library show.... The game spread throughout Australia with manually operated centres in many areas. With the advent of automatic pinsetting machinery the popularity of the game exploded.
