The Narrogin community can now join the growing number of people learning this expressive visual language with South Regional TAFE’s Auslan course.... In collaboration with Auslan in the West, the college is offering this six-week course as an introduction to the language using the popular video conferencing platform Zoom. So no matter where you are, you can learn Auslan with full lecturer support as well as interaction with other learners. Auslan 1 will be followed by Auslan 2 and 3, giving you the chance to gain a firm foundation in the language. This non-accredited course starts on 1 August, so enquire now! Thanks to the State Government’s latest initiative announced to safeguard Western Australia’s future workforce, more than 3,000 apprentices and trainees will now be able to access free training so that they can continue building their skills and stay in employment where possible.
