20.01.2022 Have you had problems being swooped by magpies? Mark from Clovelly Park has come up with the perfect solution after being attacked multiple of times. The bird... is a light, stuffed toy. He often attaches it to his backpack to keep him safe when he is walking too and, on this occasion, it helps when riding his bike. We must admit Mark can also do a pretty good magpie impression as well : Mark John Muscat

02.01.2022 WA'S FIRST DEDICATED TRAIL CENTRE Do you like to walk or ride trails around the Peel and South West? A new dedicated trail centre has opened in Dwell...ingup- the first of its kind in WA. The centre will operate as the local visitor centre and will house information, maps and amenities needed for all the walking and riding trails across the area. Shire of Murray President David Bolt [pictured] said the building was six years in the making. "We wanted to make sure this was an iconic place for all of Western Australians and [Dwellingup] could be a purpose built trails town," he said. He said the centre is essential in helping to draw more trail tourism to Dwellingup. "Around the world trails are becoming very popular but unless you do it at that very high quality level you don't get the trail uses coming back." What's your favourite trail around the South West and Peel?
