16.01.2022 COVID - 19 Update From Saturday 5 December, sport and recreation centres across WA will be required to maintain a mandatory contact register for staff and patrons. Current Phase 4 conditions are still in place. The reintroduction of contact registers is an additional protection measure and will assist the WA Department of Health with contact tracing, should it be required. ... The WA Government has developed the free, SafeWA app, an online contact register system that uses QR Codes for patrons and staff to scan to register their attendance. This is available to download from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and allows you to create an account before you come to the South West Sports Centre. From 5 December, all members, patrons volunteers and staff to SWSC will be required to register upon entry by either using the SafeWA app or written format at reception. The contact register records will be held only for 28 days before being disposed of under data privacy laws. As the SWSC is a large site with multiple areas of use, we will have a QR code for the main entrance and additional area QR codes across the facility e.g. aquatics, stadium and gym. The South West Sports Centre and City of Bunbury appreciate and thank all of our members, patrons, volunteers and staff for their continued assistance in administering the State Governments COVID-19 guidelines. For more information please see the following link: https://www.wa.gov.au//maintaining-contact-registers-requi
