25.01.2022 After today’s update from SA Health it should be no surprise to any of our members or any part of the cycling community that a direction not to leave your house... for exercise absolutely includes solo outdoor riding for recreation or training. We ask that all members respect these directions and ride only on the trainer (or in your own backyard) for the time being from midnight tonight. Again, a reminder that this hard 6-day lockdown could save us not only weeks or months of a Victoria-style lockdown, but also hundreds of lives if we can prevent the widespread case numbers that we’ve seen interstate and overseas. 25.01.2022 One of the primary goals of AusCycling was to unite as many bike riders under one banner as possible. As such, we are excited to welcome the Adelaide Hills Cycling Club to ACSA, with their first race under our umbrella occurring on January 3! The club runs a packed calendar of road racing across the Adelaide Hills, including their marquee masters tour, the Tour of Goolwa, in February. Their events are open to all adult riders with a 'Race All -Discipline Licence'. If you race road, make sure you follow them on social media so you know what's coming up!

16.01.2022 Age, Masters & Superclass Day Coming to the track for the final day... Don't forget to use the EVA App to 'Check in' to the BMXSA 2020 HutSix State Championships COVID restrictions mean everybody attending the event MUST sign in each day. This is separate to Registration. We are required to know how many people are at the venue, so we have created a QR Code for you to scan each morning and ‘check in’. ... How it works: 1. Download the EVA Checkin app before the event: https://evacheck.in/android https://evacheck.in/apple 2. On arrival each day, there will be posters around the venue with the QR code on them 3. Scan the QR code with your phone 4. Provide email address or phone number - this is for contact tracing records only 5. For additional people in your family group, select the option to Check-in Additional People and enter the names of everyone in your group (including children) 6. For each person, select who is a Volunteer, Rider or Spectator The app is designed to work so you only need to enter all of your details once and then just check-in each day you are at the event. We appreciate this may appear cumbersome, but it is a condition of us being able to hold the event. We will be checking the EVA ‘Rider’ list against entries for each session, to ensure everyone is using the QR Codes. See more

05.01.2022 The final BMXSA State Championships is over and was a most excellent weekend, despite the weather! We cannot run any events without our volunteers, so THANK YOU! From Jo & Tracey in the hut, Chrissy overseeing Staging, Scott with the cameras (thanks HV Club for the loan!), Denis & Sean overseeing the officials with our legendary PCP, Mr Dowse. Dave Banning & his merry band keeping us entertained and informed, the most excellent track crew and the superstars of the canteen. Tr...evor for managing the Team Managers, Cathy overseeing everything not racing, St Johns coming all the way from Adelaide and Mount Gambier Lions Club for the support, Merv, Eric & Janet for COVID Marshalling at such short notice and Blue Lake BMX Club - you guys handled every request thrown at you, always had a smile and got the job done!! 01.01.2022 We might all be catching our breath after the most excellent State Champs, but that doesn't mean state racing is done for the year! Round 5 of the 2020 State Series is @ The Cove on Sunday 25th October, with the final round of the last ever BMXSA State Series @ The Copper Coast on Sunday 15th November. Both clubs will be holding their own event on the Saturday beforehand. Postscript - there will be State Series events next year, but will not be run by BMXSA.
