23.01.2022 Our last judge is the very talented Miss Olivia Oates Olivia made her debut on the South Australian Pole Championships stage in 2013, taking out first place in the Amateur division and later going on to take out the National Amateur title at the Australian Pole Championships that year. From there she competed in the professional division placing 3rd in 2014, 2nd in 2015, and 1st in 2016, following that up with the Best Trickster award at the national championships later that ...year. She has competed in doubles placing second in both 2013 and 2014 and is no stranger to the Miss Pole Dance Australia national stage winning 3rd place in 2017 and sponsors choice in 2015. We have some amazing South Australian Judges lined up to help us pick this years winners. Introducing first ... Chris Measday Chris Measday has been involved in the pole industry since the early 00s. He was one of the pioneers of Mens Pole dance and has competed, performed and instructed all over the world. He is also the pioneer of bending and breaking poles by spinning at break neck speeds and has developed a reputation that sees he is always the last competitor..... just in case. This was all long before spinning so hard your pole popped out became a Youtube hit. 16.01.2022 We are excited to have a fantastic photographer capturing images of our contestants on Saturday! Massive thankyou to Sarah from Longshot Images Sarah has been photographing for over 20 years, as an advertising, editorial, and content photographer in Adelaide and Melbourne as Longshot Images.... She loves her work and you can often see her swanning around ritzy pools, amazing gardens, flying a drone, or shooting fashion in hotels. Her goal is to make emotive imagery for clients so they can stand out above their competitors. Her work has been showcased in numerous exhibitions in Adelaide and interstate and she has won awards in the advertising industry, been selected as a finalist in the National Photographic Portrait Prize, Head Off Landscape Prize, The Emma Hack Art Prize and she took out South Australian Travel Photographer of the Year 2016 in the AIPP. 08.01.2022 Our next judge for SAPC on October 3rd is Katrina Ann! Katrina is the co owner of Pole Phoenix and comes with years of experience and knowledge. From the age of 6 she has consistently competed, been educated and participated in a range of dance forms including Ballroom, Contemporary Dance, Hip-hop and Burlesque and now has 9 years experience as a Pole Dance Instructor, teaching all levels from beginner to advanced, mentoring many students through competitions with many of he...r students taking out their own titles. Katrina has competed at both National and State competition level, including Rising Stars, SAPC and APC, and has performed around Adelaide at functions, charity events and at the Adelaide Fringe.
