24.01.2022 Is the Belmont Foodswap - On Saturday morning at the South Barwon Community Centre - going to be as big as the awesome East Geelong swap last weekend? Well, we can only hope. Bring all your over-abundance to share! 9:30 - 11am.

21.01.2022 Sorry, we've been extremely quiet over the winter months. The Belmont swap is on this morning at 9:30. I'm going to drop down for a bit to see if anyone shows up (I did put the sign out this time)... but going forward, this swap needs another local person to help setup once a month. Cheers, Goshen.

13.01.2022 Just updated the South Barwon Foodswap page, and the Foodswap Flyers. Grovedale and Highton swaps now run from 9:30-10:30, and the Belmont swap is currently not running (until further notice). However two swaps are coming very soon - part of the Transition Streets Library talks. The first is at WAURN PONDS Library - Wed 31st Jan, the swap is from 6 - 6:30pm (just before the talk).

09.01.2022 Belmont Foodswap on again this Saturday at 9:30am (South Barwon Community Centre). I'll be there early this week, as I have to leave just before 10am as I'm helping out with the Sustainability Expo (Elect Bike demo) at GPAC. 02.01.2022 Belmont Swap on again Saturday morning at 9:30; sorry the FB notification hasn't gone out earlier... kind of had a busy week and I didn't quite get to it. Also, I need to head off a little early tomorrow, so hoping someone can hang around to pack-up.

01.01.2022 Reminder: Belmont Foodswap on this Saturday! But also... I wanted to ask folks; what do you think of this 'PAGE'. We are going to discuss at the next meeting the Facebook Groups and pages; because PAGES are very commercial in nature, and posts don't get shown to many people unless we pay to boost them. Since we're a community initiative that involves collaboration amongst many, it seems appropriate to REMOVE these 'pages' and start a 'South Barwon Foodswap' GROUP, which means everyone can contribute to them. Thoughts anyone?

01.01.2022 Good day yesterday. Took seedlings, artichokes, rhubarb, garlic chives. Went home with rocket, leeks, oregano, more rhubarb (to give away), garlic, lemons etc. There were also grapefruit, white radishes, tomato chutney and more.

01.01.2022 Belmont Foodswap is on this Saturday 11th Feb! Feb is one of the most productive months of the year - so hopefully we'll get a few people along with some great produce! I'll be there this month with HEAPS, but... it might be the last month I can offer to setup. The Belmont swap needs some more regulars to attend and help keep it going.
