This role is primarily a field-based role and may include working on site based and wilderness settings anywhere between 1 - 9 days in duration. In this role you would: Be an Assistant Program Director and Duke of Edinburgh Team Leader Effectively facilitate and deliver Outdoor Education Programs for students aged between 7-18 including pre-program preparation, logistics, on program logistic and post program follow up with clients Build rapport quickly with clients and students. Adapt to changing client needs & environmental conditions Manage risk in an Outdoor Environment Assist with school presentations to students, staff and parents Assist with team field inductions Assist with the delivery of educational outcomes Assist in management of gear store and office complex Assist in general office administration and organisation Assist management staff in preparing for outdoor program Minimum Qualifications: - Wilderness First Aid (or equivalent) - Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation (or equivalent) - Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Outdoor Education Industry or equivalent relevant experience Where: Kangaroo Valley, Hawkesbury, Killalea, Kiama, Myall Lakes, Tasmania, Bungonia, Wingello, Stanwell Tops, Berowra Waters, Royal NP. - Albion Park, NSW is our office base Workload: 0.9 (34.2hours per week within the field and the office). Renumeration: Minimum - $47,819.45 BASE WAGE as a 0.9 Load (34.2 hrs/week) Estimated total: $54,000 based on average field loading and penalty rates. Plus a Phone Allowance of $650 per year.
