24.01.2022 UPDATE: It's official SCOTT HENSCHEN has been served with a summons to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on 5th March 2021. Division 6 Councillor SCOTT HENS...CHEN subject of Council Conduct Tribunal Investigation. Six of the seven Councillors have a conflict of interest with this complaint about Cr SCOTT HENSCHEN and declared a conflict. Consequenlty the report is being sent to the Hon Dr Steven Miles as the appropriate State Minister to make the final decision. 08.01.2022 Once again, very serious allegations are trying to be hidden from the public by Council. They cite 'Openness, Honesty and Transparency' ONLY when it suits their agenda. Policies and Procedures have been adopted by SBRC for them to abide by, but they seem to alter, manipulate, ignore them or have their legal team interpret things to suit. Ratepayers concerns, financial mismanagement issues raised and Road conditions are all being ignored and basic honest leadership by a Co...uncil is not happening. The unfortunate appearance of divulging personal and private information from within helping to protect their 'mates' has tentacles reaching outside of Council into other Services in the Shire. Reports of a 'heads up' occurrence to various people have been received on multiple occasions. The 'brown paper bag' system from the Fitzgerald era still flourishes here. There is more than one ongoing investigation into Council & Councillors from lodged complaints and concerns. We can only hope that some form of accountability and recompense for any wrong doings is adequate, not just another smack on the wrist as in the past. Their internal online reporting and public airing of so many issues is not happening, and Council has been caught out on this issue previously by the Ombudsman. Change has to happen.

06.01.2022 This problem isn't just localised to only that area of the Sth Burnett Shire. So much EXTRA money raked in by SBRC from the illegal road levy and even more after it was amalgamated into general rates, but no improvements have been made. Where has it all been spent ?... Exactly how many hundreds of millions of extra rates $$ & Govt funding has this Council supposed to have spent on these roads? We'll never know because they won't tell anyone, but the proof of their wastage and work failures is quite obvious to the general public and drivers within the Shire.
