Whilst our mens reserve & senior teams enjoyed the bye our ladies travelled to Trinity Beach to take on the Bulldogs, our Cutter ladies coming home with the win, 5.10.40 to Bulldogs 1.4.10. Round 11 next week sees our Cutters womens team have a bye, whilst our mens grade teams travel to Port Douglas to take on the Crocs. We have three games today with our ladies kicking off at 11.00am. our reserve boys at 12.30pm & our seniors kicking off at 2.30pm. Training will be Mondays & Wednesdays with a season start date set by AFL Cairns 21st April 2021. Round 9 next week we return home to Fretwell Park where we take on the North Cairns Tigers. 15.01.2022 A mixed day at Fretwell Park in round 6 for the South Cairns Cutters. Whilst our ressies boys had a solid win, our womens & mens senior grades have gone down to strong City Lions teams. Cairns weather put on a lovely day for our Ladies Day with many ladies enjoying lovely food & beverages. A big shout out to the clubs many volunteers who have helped the club get through another busy home game. Round 7 next week we reach the halfway mark of the 2020 season. The Cutters travel to Griffiths Park next week to take on Cairns Saints with a sponsor visit for dinner that evening, family & friends welcome to join us.

04.01.2022 NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia each year to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC originally stood for ‘National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee’. This committee was once responsible for organising national activities during NAIDOC Week and its acronym has since become the name of the week itself. NAIDOC is celebrated not only in Indigenous communities, but by Australians from all walks of life. This week is a great opportunity to participate in a range of activities and to support your local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
