23.01.2022 This is very disappointing & frustrating .. No respect for others property. As if this year has not been hard enough for clubs that did their utmost to help kids get on the park & play the game they love!! 18.01.2022 And our U15 1’s girls lead by Troy Green, Michael Kempfe & Michelle Iliopoulos finished off their season in fine form with a 3 nil win over the Warner’s Bay girls, giving them outright 3rd on the ladder. Meaning had finals been played they too would have been there.. Coaches, managers & players can hold their heads high knowing that their behaviour was exemplary & all participants played with the right attitude & approach. Congratulations on a fantastic season to all involved. Our female teams did themselves & the club proud.

17.01.2022 With the season finished we would like to take this opportunity to thank our amazing Coaches & Managers for all of their time, effort, commitment & support thru such a strange year. To think we did not even know if we would get a start of a season , then non contact training, negative people around the area with their poor comments & actions, a very uncertain start, doing our best to follow all Covid guidelines, no parents in the training areas, social distancing, very limite...d spectators, hand sanitising before, during & after training, keeping the balls & gear clean & sprayed down following rules of which some did not seem to make sense, seemingly going ok, then another spanner in the works where for a few weeks it looked very uncertain again - you all stuck it out & kept your team safe so we THANKYOU!! You stayed strong, stable, firm & supportive to your teams & did it. You helped these kids play the game they love & have a little bit of normality in their lives during a season of uncertainty & stress. Not 1 of you walked away, even though the stress & uncertainty at times was mind boggling. You Finished the season safe & with NO COVID cases to report. 13.01.2022 From Craig Lennard U15 2’s Coach Well that is the season over. Couldn’t be any more prouder of this group of girls, Covid year, 4 different clubs together to make this team, first year together, 2 weeks of training before the season starts and to finish 4 on the ladder, if there was finals we would be there. Woo hoo ... And to top it of yesterday (our last game for the season) we played the undefeated leaders Lochinvar and beat them 1-0 in a nail biting like grand final atmosphere. Lochinvar we’re playing for the premiership and we were playing to stay in the top 4. Thanks for a great season girls and can’t wait to do it all again next year. A big thanks goes out to South Cardiff Junior Football Club for take us in and making us feel a home, and for that the whole team is staying for next season Also a big thanks must go to Cindy Redpath our female co-ordinator for all your effort and on going communication throughout the season. And finally to the girls parents and my managers Melinda Kehoe and Paul thanks for your help and support throughout the year. UP THE GUNNERS

06.01.2022 To all aspiring Futsal Representative players (Newcastle players only, Central Coast trials TBA) looking to trial for our NNSW Futsal State Teams that will compete at the 2021 Club Nationals, in Sydney (or Canberra as back up). Dates for Nationals have been released, see below Juniors - U8's to U15's (Boys and Girls) 9th to 12th January 2021. ... Seniors - 16's (Boys and Girls), Youth Men, Youth Women, Open Men and Open Women 14th to 17th January 2021. Cost - $450.00 - includes trial cost, four training sessions, AFA fees, Coaches fees, all players Representative gear. Training will not start until mid-November.
