05.01.2022 How to support local businesses. Share and like their facebook page. Share their website address. Ask each business if there is anything specific you can say in... the comments. Buy from local shops. I found out that one shop sells other items now more than their regular items. For example a donut shop sells toilet paper, hand sanitiser and other food items as no one is buying cakes or donuts. So visit your local shop and ask, how can we support you? Karen from Exclusive Collections told me that people buy presents not only for birthdays but baby showers, new births, deaths, graduations etc. She is in the process of going on line so go and ask your local shops how you can help. How about the hair dresser and the like, how can we support them? Maybe buy your hair products only from them. It may cost more now, but if we don't help, it could cost a lot more later. Yes a lot more at your discount and supermarkers. Adam and Louise from Harmony Cafe are serving coffee, food etc as take away between 8am and 2pm I think that is the correct time? Let's brain storm. If you have any ideas how we can support each other please comment. If you are fearful at this time, are anxious and would like some hope, positivity, yet realism, you are welcome to message me and I will do what I can to encourage you and give you hope in this hour of dispare and uncertainty. I must let you know, my hope comes from the bible, just letting you know. I enjoy my freedoms as Im sure you do. Im not afraid of the virus. I just love the freedom we have and would rather that we keep it that way. Ok, things might go into lockdown anyway, but let's not bring it on ourselves by not following current requirements. One last thing, if you have a family member suffering at this time, please let me know. We might be able to gather the community behind you in some way, through video chat or dropping food on your door or whatever. I am only one person and love to offer sooo much, but I can only do little, but believe in the goodness of others to pull together. Let's do this together. God bless you all. Stay safe.
