25.01.2022 What a turn out for at Sandy this weekend for the Serious Surf stuff comp 2. Our great sponsor (serious surf stuff @Invy) enable us put on some great prizes with lots of giveaways to be had. We had some new judges learning the ropes getting some pointers from our more experienced surf judges. A few new members joined for their first comp and everyone made them feel really welcome. It’s great to be a part of a club where everyone helps out on the day, as they say many hands ...make light work. A special thanks to Denita for ripping it up with the men in the B grade and great work in the tallying of the results. Thanks to the sub comp committee for put together another successful comp and to all that attend our events and our sponsors for the day Serious Surf Stuff at Inverloch. Stop in and support this great surf shop. Check out our facebook page for more details closer to the time for Comp 3 or email [email protected] for more details. See more

25.01.2022 Amid all this global chaos, friends... let's look back a couple weekends ago through the lens of Tanya Chalmers and remember that day that we all came together and did our annual family tag team event on Sunday morning at Normans Bay at Wilsons Prom. Such a fun day where team Red was clearly set up to lose because the phenomenal team spirit and finishing the relay first should've set them in good steed to take out the top seat. But alas, there was legendary sandcastles of Mi...ck Fanning's shark and Bell that pipped team Red at the finish. The egg shenanigans were strong with seaside facials and hair treatments on offer. Our favorite part of this day is when we get through our duties and tagging and then jump into the sea en masse and surf and cheer for the little tackers. Thanks everyone that came together for the Prom Weekend. As a committee we meet this week to discuss the future weeks of club activities as we come to the end of the season with our final comp and dev sessions. We will report back here shortly. Stay well and kind out there folks. Keep up on your doses of vitamin sea.
24.01.2022 Radar is crazy, friends. We'll have to cancel dev sessions tonight to be safe with the forecasted lightning. Sorry for the late notice, we we're hoping it might come in later, but it appears to be very soon. See you next week at the annual prom weekend! Please note no dev sessions on 21st either as we'll all be settling into camp.

18.01.2022 Welcome to the 2021 season! We are excited to be starting the year with our first comp this Saturday the 5th of December at Sandy Point, starting at 9.00. There has been a lot happening behind the scenes over the past few months. Not only have we been navigating our way towards operating the club in a COVID safe way, but Surfing Australia have recently launched ‘Go Membership’, a new national platform for all boardriders clubs and states to utilise. The aim is to have a singl...e, consistent method for purchasing memberships and entering events across the country. Memberships are now open using the new platform. A link and basic instructions are included at the bottom of this post. We have made the decision to discount membership fees for 2021 to half price, to assist families during this difficult time and also recognising the fact that we may be unable to offer our full schedule of events. We hope this will encourage members to continue to support the club in 2021. Membership fees are $20 for an Individual and $40 for a family. We ask that you attempt to purchase your 2021 membership online as soon as possible, particularly if you are planning to participate in the first comp this weekend. We are aware that there will likely be teething issues with the new membership portal, and thank you for your patience and perseverance as we transition to the new online portal. Friday Night Development sessions are will also be commencing very soon. Stay tuned for more information. Thank you for your ongoing support and we look forward to a fun 2021 season! REGISTRATION PROCESS: 1. ‘Sign up’ one family member with Surfing Australia using the above link. This is free and does not require purchasing a Surfing Vic Membership. It is simply creating a login. 2. Once logged in to Surfing Australia, add any additional family members and their personal details (Bottom left hand corner of member homepage). For each family member you must select a club (South Coast Boardriders) to affiliate with; 3. Add ‘Club’ membership. Search for and select ‘South Coast Boardriders Club’ 4. Select either ‘Individual’ or ‘Family’ Membership. 5. If selecting ‘Family’, you will then need to highlight the ‘tick’ to the right of ‘Individual Membership’ for each family member. This is effectively purchasing a free ‘Individual Membership’ for each family member within the ‘Family’ package. 6. Proceed to payment. 7. Send a confirmation email to [email protected] when you are done so we can track the payments and names. https://SurfingAustralia.Azolve.com/
