22.01.2022 Another great afternoon with Mandy got her 1st & 2nd Bream on a hardbody, I also got a couple of fish with the best going 38.5cm.

21.01.2022 Coopers Is ( Far NSW South Coasty) access still under a cloud. The Recreational Fishing Alliance of NSW has watched this fishing access issue handballed from DP...I , to Crown Lands, to local Council and back again for a year now. On the highway there is a clear sign indicating the direction to Coopers Island - this is a Crown Road,a public road and access should be permitted at all times. The crown road leads to Bowns Creek which connects Trunketabella Lake to the Tuross River, all of which is part of a Recreational Fishing Haven (RFH). The ownership /management of the adjacent property changed and it seems the new owner/manager has made a number of fencing changes which have impacted on the community obtaining free access for fishing and kayaking. Signage and new gates give the impression that this is a private road, this is not the case. Some of the new fencing has been erected on the Crown Land and this has been confirmed to the RFA in a site visit with Council last year. The fencing has been extending to join the bridge thus preventing access to the water. This was not the case previously. The new fence has prevented the launching of kayaks/canoes or other small car toppers from the bank. Some fishers including RFA member’s frequented this upper area of the river as it is a long way to paddle up from Tuross Head. Prior to the fence changes there was ample area for a few cars to park - the new fence line has also made it more difficult to turn around. Those without small craft fished off the bridge and this is popular in school holidays. The images show how misleading the signs and gates are that this road is private, this is not the case. The simple answer is a new sign on the road and the gates removed as there already is a cattle grid and new fences that keep the stock contained. We pay a fishing access fee in NSW, seems like access is not a priority for many NSW Government agencies whilst they argue who is responsible for clearing this mess up. Stay Tuned.

15.01.2022 Had the pleasure of taking Nick Kyrigos, Christos Kyrigos & a couple of their close friends out for an afternoon charter in Tuross! Fishing was a bit slow but they were able to get onto a few fish! a couple of legal Bream and Tailor. There were plenty of laughs and a good time was had by all. Thanks for your company guy's and really looking forward to your next visit!

12.01.2022 Great afternoon on the water with good mate Michael the local motel owner and his best mate Jock the human dog 4 over 40cm and all released to catch again.

08.01.2022 Another good afternoon session chasing bream on hardbody lures with Starlo. Took awhile to find them but well worth it when we did, very fat and healthy fish that gave a good account of themselves. I rate bream on hardbody lures as one of the most exciting ways to fish.

03.01.2022 Arranged an afternoon fishing trip with good mate Steve "Starlo" Starling, "legend" of Bream fishing especially in our local waters. The weather was on our side and the fishing was on his side, 6-1 was given a master lesson from the "Guru" all fish were over 40cm but the fish of the day was Starlo's whopping 47.5cm one of his PB's on hardbodies. What a great experience to be showed 1st hand the art of Bream fishing from such a master, thank you so much Steve much appreciated mate, great afternoon finished with a couple of crankshafts (Starlo's Fishotopia)
