22.01.2022 We've had some interesting information come through with a link to The Victorian Folk Music Club Inc. offering written music - please read below: The Victorian Folk Music Club Inc. is pleased to announce that a revised edition of the Joy Durst Memorial Australian Collection is now available. You can buy a copy from the VFMC or download it for FREE (for non-commercial purposes). Get the book here: http://www.vfmc.org.au/JoyDurstFiles.php or go to "publications" on the Victori...an Folk Music Club web site. Yes, this isn't spam or a sneaky marketing trick. The VFMC constitution requires us to promote Australian folk songs (1), and what better way to do this than to give them away. After a four year project, this famous Australian song book has been carefully reviewed, revised and expanded (2) and now runs to 238 pages. It is set up for easy use on your computer with comprehensive search and index functionality, or you can download and print it. This is absolutely free of charge for non-commercial purposes. The VFMC retains copyright to this publication, and will sell printed copies of the book at printing cost plus postage.

17.01.2022 On the advice received from several of our members we have decided to postpone South Coast Folk Club Sessions at Port Noarlunga Bowls Club - at least for the rest of March. Although unfortunate, I hope you will see this as a positive step in supporting our community to help restrict the potentially rapid spread of this viral infection. When this is over and when we're just about sick of Thursday night TV, we'll have a great comeback session! Keep in touch, practice some new ...songs, stay safe and we'll be back as soon as we can. 13.01.2022 Great News ...... South Coast Folk Club is recommencing on the 9th July 7.30pm. It will be great to see everyone, share music and stories once again! 03.01.2022 What a great night last Thursday for our SCFC Christmas Party. Many thanks to our own very hardworking elves - Val Corfield and Cathie Lincoln-Bouts for catering single plates of deliciousness for everyone to enjoy! We’ll have a short break now but will be back on the 14th January 2021. Wishing everyone a Very Merry Christmas, stay safe and we’ll see everyone in the New Year.
