23.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT South Coast Football Reform will be kicking off their season tonight at 7pm.. Tonight and over the coming weeks we will be exposing and discussing why footballers, clubs and volunteers are afraid to speak up to the governing body within our region. STAY TUNED.... We kick off 7pm tonight

21.01.2022 South Coast Football Reform would like to wish our local Football community good health and a prosperous 2021. Over the past 10 days the team at SCFR have reenergized themselves in readiness for the big year ahead in terms of football reform. This year we aim to bring transparency, democracy and fairness back into Football within our proud region. We understand the enormous challenge ahead. However, the support provided to our group over the past few weeks have given us hop...e and determination that reform will prevail for the betterment of our kids, our clubs and our community.. Like always. Please remember to like and share our Facebook Page. Thankyou! South Coast Football Reform Team

11.01.2022 The support given to our group over the past 3 weeks has been phenomenal. The team at South Coast Football reform would like to thank our followers and supporters as we push for a more Unified, Transparent and Democratic Football Governing Body for our region. 1000 likes in the space of 3 weeks is exceptional. We cannot achieve a more democratic, transparent and Unified Footballing Body without the support of our South Coast Community. Please continue to like and share our posts with your family, friends and local community.

10.01.2022 FSC claim that members have a ‘voice through their elected councils.’ According to the FSC constitution, the board is made up of 5 council directors (from member councils) and 5 independent directors. But lets dive a little deeper....one of the council directors (namely, the Representative and Development Director) is in fact appointed by the board and was selected in May 2019. This completely goes against the 'member voice through councils' model. This six-four split en...sures the ongoing control where the existing regime have the power to pick and maintain control, implementing their own initiatives based on their own self interest. We are calling on a change to have 8 council members (that are fully voted on by the member clubs) and 3 independent members (appointed based on providing a key skillset), handing the voice and control back to the members.

07.01.2022 Ever raised an issue with your club and wondered why it gets swept under the rug? Ever wondered why more clubs don’t speak up? The FSC Constitution allows the board to select who can and can’t be a member (club). This has resulted in every existing club having to submit an ‘expression of interest’ to join the 2021 season and signed a brand new ‘participation agreement’ which signs over all rights from the club with no guarantees of entry.. This participation agreement also... requires clubs to agree to all the terms of the (yet to be released) letter of offer...ie a blank cheque for FSC. This has been rolled out for all junior, senior, men’s and women’s clubs. If you’ve spoken your mind, made an enemy on the board or simply sit on the wrong side of the fence.you’re out! As it stands, there are currently no registered clubs for the 2021 season.. This year clubs, players, parents and South Coast Football reform will be taking FSC to task on this issue. This policy amongst a range others to be discussed in the coming weeks will be at the forefeont of our agenda in the battle for democracy and transparency within our proud Footballing region.
