18.01.2022 Yesterday I entered Dragon in the Classic 6yrs and under Barrel Racing event at Denim & Lace in Gingin...she took home the win Those who know me know that I am not a competitive person, it doesn’t come naturally, I’m happy to just sit on my horses and have fun and I’m just so overwhelmingly proud of everything they do so to have my horses become competitive and be seeing results is a dream come true. I am so proud of my little mare she tries her absolute best for me ev...ery single ride and has so much heart and grit she was started under saddle late due to having a foal when I bought her, she was started for the first time under saddle this time last year, she has had a bit over 13 months of being a ridden horse, she has gone on to be my go to work horse, she entered her very first event in September, rodeo and Campdraft in Broome and absolutely blew me away with how hard she tries, she made it into a final at and a top cut out run off and had so many compliments on her ability and work ethic. She is a very quirky mare, and has challenged me and taught me so much, they say the best ones are. She loves to go fast and so do I, I honestly feel like a kid again running around on my pony bless her!! I want to say a massive thank you to Dianne Pearce who generously sponsored this event, without amazing people like Di these events wouldn’t be possible. Thank you to the committee at Denim & Lace, so much work goes on behind the scenes to make these events go ahead and I am also super excited to see so many passionate people doing so much for the sport in Western Australia. The classic was an important event for me because I love riding and training young horses, to have events like these starting to happen in WA along with stallion incentives really excites me for the future so a big thank you to everyone involved in expanding the opportunities here in Wa. A big thank you to my beautiful friend Yarnie King who saw potential in my little horse and I, she has been a wonderful support and coach and I can’t wait to see where our collaborations take us thank you everyone for a wonderful day, thank you to my beautiful friends and partner for listening to all my horse talk and for coming along on my journey and being my rock solid support crew, you guys really are the best

17.01.2022 What a great day out at Serpentine! Wonderful bunch of people with beautiful horses; it was an absolute pleasure, thank you for having us! It is exciting to work with such a talented horsewomen, Yarnie King and I have some big plans for next year, we have a vision of bringing you the tools to relax and create happy, calm horses so you can progress your Horsemanship and excel in your chosen discipline...we can’t wait!!

11.01.2022 Yarnie King won the 1D at yesterday’s event, fastest time of the day! What a run!! First run since March!!! Such an inspiration! I can’t wait to see all the things we get up to with our clinic collaboration. Our biggest passion is that horses can be competitive without being silly, we want to see everyone out there having fun with their horses, being safe and confident and kicking goals!!

I listened to a podcast interviewing Ryann the other day and the excitement and sheer joy in her voice for riding that colt was infectious what an incredibly well deserved opportunity as a trainer and she is certainly seeing him through to his full potential!

It was so great to see everyone relax and see the change in the horses from beginning to end of the clinic This was the first clinic that Yarnie King and I have done together, we collaborated with our separate businesses but have had so much interest for bookings for next year that we have decided to run clinics together under a joined partnership.
