What an amazing week we’ve had for both children and adults with lots of fantastic outcomes Thank you as well to Anita McCartney from Campbell Page for all your help and also to the St George Foundation for helping to make it possible. Unity is strength. Where there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved!

19.01.2022 Thank you again for all your support with my campaign to organise resources for children and families affected by the bushfires. Unfortunately my family and I experienced a traumatic 48 hours yesterday and day before when we had to evacuate our property and it burnt right up to our house. We are lucky we are safe and our children are. It makes me more passionate to continue my quest to help! Please share to continue support for resource packs for families. We so far have the Be Centre in Sydney involved who are doing an absolutely amazing job organised great resources, a video and other things. We are beyond grateful for their support

Everyone has had such a messy, crafty and fun time and we want to thank you so much for coming! Today we had our local Eurobodalla Mayor Liz Innes attend our workshop and join in the messy play. It was great to have her and engage with the littlest members of our community thanks for coming Liz ! 14.01.2022 So excited that the Festival of Play week has arrived! For those that are registered to attend the workshops we are very excited and look forward to seeing you there. Reminder that the venue for Nelligan is now Nelligen Hall in the village (next to the playground). We have our COVID plan in place and ask that you sign in to all workshops when you arrive. If you or someone in your family is unwell and unable to come, please let us know as we are fully booked and have people wanting a spot. We all excited for this fun, messy and crafty event! 14.01.2022 It goes without saying that this is a challenging time for our community, our country and the world. With the fires recently and now this, the Eurobodalla is under increased pressure, and support for our young people’s mental health as well as that of their parents and caregivers has never been more important. At this stage, I’m having to take a break to deliver our third child into the world, but I’m always a private message, email or phone call away to consult for play ide...as, or resources that might be appropriate in the coming months. I would like to thank you all for your support in the two years that we have been open. I will continue to do my best to support the Eurobodalla and when the time is right, I will be back on board to offer my play therapy services. In the meantime, I’ll continue to share different ideas on this page, starting with these great self-isolation activities you can do with your children! Nina

05.01.2022 I’m so proud to be involved in an amazing program called Replay Eurobodalla which is fully funded program at local schools providing play therapy in small groups to those kids that need it the most. This is the setup from our first program this morning !

05.01.2022 Thank you for all of your support so far. We have raised over $1000 to go towards resource packs for families and play therapy. What an amazing result in a few days! We are working with a number of organisations across NSW and inter state to source the right resources to add to our packs for our South Coast families. I will keep you up to date when they will be available and where to pick up from, but right now it’s a matter of getting the right resources together and of course understanding that business is a bit slower than normal.

04.01.2022 South Coast Play Therapy has had a break whilst we welcomed our newest addition into our family back in March, a little girl Heidi. It was divine timing as we were forced to spend quality time with just our family during the COVID isolation period. Now restrictions are starting to lift, I will be beginning to get back to working with our Eurobodalla children and on different projects related to bushfire recovery. 02.01.2022 This week I am at Batemans Bay Public School doing an intensive play therapy program with two amazing play therapists from Sydney. I applied for funding through the Commonwealth Bank to help fire affected communities and was lucky enough to receive this amazing grant and opportunity!
