21.01.2022 To minimise the transmission of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), South Coast Retreat is open to guests who have a reasonable excuse to leave home per NSW Government rules and are: - people who are overnight travellers - persons working in the local area - persons who have no other place of permanent residence or whose primary place of residence is temporarily unavailable. ... We have 9 lovely cabins (and more) 15 minutes from Shoalhaven Hospital and other locations in Nowra that would be a great alternative to motel units. We have reduced the daily rates and increased the length of stays for essential workers and we are happy to discuss other options as well. Our cabins are well-isolated from each other, our contract cleaners are following strict practices to disinfect surfaces and as an extra precaution we will ensure cabins are cleaned and left vacant for a minimum of 2 days before new arrivals. Fresh linen, bath towels are provided and we can provide weekly/other servicing if necessary or guests can use the free laundry on site. By making the booking, guests agree to our modified terms and conditions that include the practice of social distancing and personal hygiene and as such all bookings are restricted to 2 people. And our payment and cancellation policies that apply during the 'Covid-19 impact period' help to make your commitments as flexible as possible. Meanwhile please stay safe, healthy and happy!

02.01.2022 Latest Covid 19 News: The NSW Minister for Health and Medical Research, The Hon. Brad Hazzard, MP, has confirmed the NSW position and made an Order under the Public Health Act 2010 which now bans mass gatherings, places restrictions on other gatherings and requires the closure of caravan parks and camping grounds. This includes South Coast Retreat. This is regrettable but there is no choice if we as a community are to curb the spread of Covid 19 and #flattenthecurve... Meanwhile we are using the time to do some maintenance (and binge on Netflix!) so that South Coast Retreat is ready for you when Covid 19 is under control, truly a time to look forward to!
