21.01.2022 We had some highlights at the FNSW Futsal Gala Awards Night in Sydney last night with Nathan Whalen (AWD GK of the Year), Walter Del (AWD Coach of the Year), Charlie Mellino (PL2 Coach of the Year) and Riley Nicholl (PL2 Youth Men GK of the Year) all being recognised for their successful seasons. 05.01.2022 A very worthy cause. Chloe is a former Tarrawanna and Illawarra Stingrays Goal Keeper Please talk to your family friends and workmates if they are interested in attending. There are still full tables available as well as a limited number of individual seats... "In September of last year Illawarra teenager Chloe Mearing, who was preparing to sit for her HSC exams at Smiths Hill High School received a heartbreaking diagnosis. She had a tumor in her stomach and was given just 12 months to live. This was the same cancer that took her father away when she was just 5 years old. The whole world knows that since October when Chloe Mearings Surprise Magical Benefit Night was originally planned things have changed in Australia. Chloe still has treatment costs, is still set on ticking off bucket list items to create lasting memories for her family and still requires much assistance from her mother in meeting her every day needs. Despite this, Chloe has requested that the event rescheduled for February 14 to raise funds for her and her family be a dual fundraising event where proceeds are also directed to support those impacted by the devastating fires. I have been overwhelmed by the support given to me by our local community since my diagnosis last September. At this time my thoughts are with the victims of the bushfires and I would really like to do something to help. Chloe Mearing. One of Australia's finest magicians Phil Cass has donated his time for the cause, there will be a range of items including sporting memorabilia up for auction and local powerhouse rock band Dream Warriors will ensure that as well as contributing to two important causes you will have a great time, so bring your dancing shoes. Only $100 a head for dinner, drinks and entertainment. A variety of donation packages available. Stay tuned. The name has changed. 04.01.2022 Our women's team bravely fought hard today but just fell short going down 0-2 to a side that has dominated the season.

04.01.2022 We'd like to congratulate Danika Matos on her starting W-League debut with Western Sydney Wanderers against high flying Melbourne City last night. It is great to see her persistence pay dividends and we are sure she acts as an inspiration to many other young girls at our club.

02.01.2022 What a way to end the Futsal season. Across this weekend the South Coast Taipans competed in 8 grand finals. Today we played in 7 winning 5. With 10 trophies, 13 wins from a possible 15 (finals games) this was truly a proud moment for the club. Special mention to all participating teams who conducted themselves superbly. The atmosphere created by supporters, players and parents was absolutely amazing. PROUD TO BE A TAIPAN.
