10.01.2022 Um, excuse me, there’s a heart on your tumor. This 9cm heart based tumor belongs to a gorgeous 13yo FS GSD with a marked regenerative anemia. While scanning the abdomen, visualization of the thoracic cavity beyond the liver revealed marked pleural effusion indicating an echocardiogram was also indicated. The liver and spleen were also involved with little ascites. Hemangiosarcoma is the most likely diagnosis. When you put the probe on the cat and instantly see 2 bladders, something's not right. 45ml of fluid was drained from the right side and 20mls was drained from the left using ultrasound guided techniques. ... These are pretty rare and the cause is unknown. They are often associated with renal disease of varying types.
