12.01.2022 Newest addition to the farm. The Jersey already had the name Jerry and since they are both destined for the freezer we thought it was only fitting to call the duo Ben & Jerry!

07.01.2022 Been a busy week, accomplished a fair bit, finally turning things around on this little farm! Need a lot more mulch and a bit more fencing to get the veggie patch up to the point we can start planting but it's all coming together.

02.01.2022 Nice bit of wet for a change. We've got 3 shelters in the front paddock and these fence hugging idiots ignore them all, and under the house, to huddle under the smallest tree in the paddock. Had to glad wrap a cracked down pipe on the house as a temporary fix, good excuse to hit the hardware store tomorrow I guess

02.01.2022 Steph has been trying to learn the art of tanning. She's taking what once used to be a valuable product that is today treated as waste and turning it into beautiful hides and leather. So far we have done our Jersey, Jerry, who took a trip to freezer camp after jumping 1 too many fences and today we picked up a beautiful heifer from one of our neighbours so we can practice on. Stephs goal is to one day reach a standard that we can sell these hides and do custom orders for hunters and for taxidermists. Making the most out of everything.
