17.01.2022 NOTICE OF SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING A special general meeting of the South Eastern BMX Club is called to take place via Zoom Video Conferencing on Thursday 10th December at 6:30pm All committee positions will be declared vacant and nominations are sought for the positions of:... President Vice President Secretary Treasurer General Committee Member x (up to) 3 Any interested persons are asked to email their expression of interest to [email protected] noting that in order to be elected to a committee position you must be a current member of the South Eastern BMX Club. In the event that a committee can not be formed with a minimum of 5 persons, a special motion will be voted on by those in attendance to; SPECIAL MOTION Formally close the South Eastern BMX Club as per section 79 of the constitution of the South Eastern BMX Club, will all known assets to be transferred to AusCycling as the governing body of BMX Section 38 (ii) of the South Eastern BMX Club notes that ‘members may not vote by proxy’, therefore members must be present on zoom at time of meeting to cast votes. 04.01.2022 Anyone who undertakes and helps at an event or activity in a range of capacities (e.g. marshall, commentator, canteen, track setup) or simply assists their club... with general activities (e.g. track / trail working bees) does NOT need an AusCycling membership. There are a range of other roles throughout the sport including coaches, skills instructors, commissaires and club officers and officials where some form of membership is required. Anyone defined in any of the Other Roles listed below will need to hold the required AusCycling membership category to be accredited in the role.
