I meal prep cos it fits my lifestyle, and makes it easier for me to gain all the sufficient fuel needed to get me through the day. 20.01.2022 So here we are, just settling into winter. The mornings are crisp, days are fresh and nights are cold. For some, this may mean a time of "hibernation". The comfort of being in the warmth at home. I mean, after a long day at work all you want to do is sit down, rest and relax. It felt like yesterday when you thought about or wrote down your New Years resolution. "This was the year youre gonna do it." "This was the year you will be ahead." And yet, here you are at home, halfw...ay through the year and youre in the same position as you were 6 months ago. What happened?! Were in June already! Time flies huh? And yet, in 3 months time when Spring kicks in, thats when Ill start my regime right? Ill be ok, shouldnt take that long. Then comes November, December, Christmas parties, Family dinners, then were back again at New Years resolution. Sound familiar? Why do most people end up on this wheel going round and round in circles and always ending up at the same place every year? Its because your health isnt a priority. Its always taken a back seat, the last thing on your list of things to do. You had all the greatest intentions to start and get into it. You signed up to a 12 week Challenge and did well for the most part of it, but after it finished you just slipped back into old habits again. Health isnt just about jumping on a program and getting on a "health kick". Its more than that, way more than that. Its your daily routines, the things you do in the morning. How you plan out your day. What takes priority in your day? Its much easier to grab whatever there is to eat coz its easy. Your goals dont mean enough to you. You dont make health part of your lifestyle. Its not "habit". For me, health & fitness is apart of me. Its who I am, been part of my life since the age of 5 when I started swimming and through my years of playing professional basketball and competitive swimming & athletics. I train to improve myself, to be better than I was yesterday. I eat healthy because I know its beneficial to me in my development of lean muscle gain, a strong immune system and providing myself with all the beneficial nutrients that our beautiful Earth has to offer. I do it for myself, I do it to set an example for my Family, and to set an example for my clients. So my tip for you is to actually think, what is it that I truly want to achieve? And more importantly, "WHY?" It starts with commitment, and with commitment comes discipline, and with discipline comes execution, and with execution comes results.

We used a feather as a simple reminder of lifes fragility and really tuned into our physical body, sensations and environment around us. 16.01.2022 Our children are creatures of habit and will always mimick & follow what you do. This includes the food you eat! 4 years ago when Dr was 2 years of age, he would not only eat the food I was eating, but feed me too. 4 years on, Gisle is very much the same! I have no problem in sharing my spinach & egg omelette with mushrooms + lean bacon coz I know shes getting all the vital nutrients needed for a growing body

14.01.2022 Should I train whist on holidays? Nope. Do I have to train whilst on holidays? Nope. Do I have to follow a strict diet whilst on holidays? Nope. Its not necessary at all to do any of these, it all comes down to choice. Why do I train whist on holidays? For me, its part of my lifestyle. Its what I do day in, day out. When Im not training or eating well, I feel sluggish and lethargic. I am currently away on Family holiday and in my fourth and final week. Gaining access to a... gym has proven difficult, but I have had a few sessions here and there while doing some morning runs and heaps of walking. I havent trained regularly, lost a lot of strength, muscle, conditioning and Ive eaten & drank way too much, but Im most definitely enjoying myself. Food for me isnt a treat, its a choice. Its been an amazing holiday, but getting back to routine will definitely be good for the body. For now, Ill keep enjoying my time with my Family in paradise
