22.01.2022 Well, a couple of days ago we hope and prayed that the weather would be good and people would come to our Men’s Shed/Yard Sale and boy did we have a beautiful day with a steady stream of people looking for bargain! We couldn’t have done it though without our team pictured here though and give many thanks to the following people: ... 1) Two teams from Youth With A Mission Tasmania who had a taste of what Thrift Shop life is like and kept putting their hands up to come back and help some more. Your work has not gone unnoticed by our Team & Customers. Thank you 2) Shaun- For championing for months on end preparations for the event, for keeping us sane in the process and going the extra mile for the community as you always do 3) Leigh- For giving up his Saturday to come down and help us out and connecting with the community in his unique ‘Leigh’ way (no bear hugs this time around!) 4) Kath & Margie- Who made it possible for the Thrift Shop to be open on a Saturday, as we know it has been missed by many of our community members and was gratefully received by customers. And also, a big thank you to those who stepped foot onto the property and managed to score a bargain... your contribution assists us in providing support across the South East.

12.01.2022 With the busyness of Christmas upon us we need to reduce our Thrift Shop trading hours to help us run a number of community events around the South East. Unfortunately we can only be in so many places at once. From now until Christmas we will be opening Monday-Friday 10-2. We are working towards extending hours in the new year so please bear with us in the meantime.... Thanks Jess and Craig.

06.01.2022 We have partnered with Mary Eleanor Natural Funeral to offer a Christmas Remembrance Service this coming Sunday 6th December @ 2:00pm. Having received news today that there are still plenty of places available, we wish to extend the invitation to anyone in our community who may have experienced the loss of someone, something dear to them. Come and join us as we reflect on the year that has been, share in a sacred time together and sing some carols to welcome the Christmas Season. <3
